Thanks for watching my video. This was an enjoyable experience but there is some controversy about these tours. Please watch to the end to learn more since some people don't like the idea of this. I provide important context and my opinion at the end so that you can understand more about these tours and help you make up your own mind about this industry. Would you go on a Lion Walking Tour? Let me know below and don't forget to like and subscribe. Thank you!
Loved this one. Cute and informative. I’d be scared as well and would take your advice on researching the company doing the tour and what happens to the lions if I ever went. Thanks for this! 👍🏽❤
We went to Victoria Falls as well, but I'm not sure which tour we used. I THINK it's Wildlife Encounter which is pretty close, offers 1 hour walking tours and has lions up to 2 years of age. Pretty much the same as what we did. I'm sure you will have a great experience. Enjoy your trip!
It was actually a long time ago I think close to Victoria Falls. I just checked online and they stopped the walks in 2020 and are no longer breeding lions. It's probably for the best.
You should NOT be participating in lion walking and or cub petting! These lions are a part of the canned hunting industry, in which a lion in captivity is exploited at every step of its life to make businesses money. The cubs are taken away from their mother to be raised in the cub petting industry by people, then used for lion walks, then once too big people pay money for a guaranteed trophy that the lion has no chance of escaping, then the bones are sold to Asia. By visiting and paying to experience these places, you are directly contributing to this industry. Don’t go to these places! You can find multiple sources of this info.
@@primetraveltime Did you know this info before participating in the walk? If so then why do the walk in the first place? Places like this lie about where the lions end up as to not hurt their business, so "sold to zoos or used in movies" would be a lie.

You're welcome! Thanks for watching 😊
We are traveling to Victoria Falls this coming summer- what tour did you use to book this Lion Encounter? Thanks!

I don't think this is a good idea. (Even the 'usual safari' etc I don't)

No I found out afterwards. If I had known I wouldn't have gone.
