    Like the engine test stand it helps that way you can work out all the issues before installing the engine.

    The motor looks really good. The timing sounds a little late, try advancing it a bit. We used to get explosions in the face when we worked on the Dodge Thermoquads, but you learned to stand back and not over the engine.

    Hey man! Keep it up! I love these videos for real! I can really see you gaining a lot of subscribers soon.
    I have a 76 F100 with a 351 windsor and I wish that I was knowledgeable enough to feel comfortable to give advice but I am figuring it out and that's how I found your channel. Really good stuff man!
    Do you have an Instagram? Just wondering!

    4 Bars of oil pressure, sound good the way you talk about it. But could you dumb it down for us guys in the states?
    Thanks
    Bart

    • @ratrodsafrica
      @ratrodsafrica  2 роки тому

      Sorry Brian, I forgot that Bars are a metric measurement and you guys do psi. 1 bar = about 14.5 psi, so 4 bar = 58 psi

      Hey that is nice healthy oil pressure. Some people freak out when they borrow my newer pickup and the gauge goes up as high as the one you had on your engine. They think there is something wrong. But most V8 engines, at least healthy ones has pressure that high.

      @@bart9859 I know very little about these V8 engines, so that's good to hear! Thanks appreciate the feedback

    diff is the 351 stock?

    • @ratrodsafrica
      @ratrodsafrica  3 роки тому +2

      Yes pretty much Jackie. Nothing fancy to this one. Does have a Edelbrock Performer intake manifold but that's about it. Will also fit some headers. I do have a Cleveland with a few more tricks, but that is for another build. Pricey business to upgrade these engines out here in South Africa...🙈
