What about the hundreds of stone toads that Pa said were people who couldn’t learn Sage mode and died trying? I think the reason there are more toad sages is simply because the toads will teach basically anyone they think isn’t evil and wants to learn how to do it. Right. To be a snake Sage you literally just need to meet the requirements to learn Sage mode anyway, high chakra & strong body, & get bitten. Literally the easiest way if you know you meet the requirements.
I don't think the sage jutsu is tied to the sage mode. Naruto could probably learn inorganic reanimation or other moves if taught. NChammer also forgetting kabuto uses other ppl's power, like he wouldn't be able to liquefy without sugetsu's kekkai genkai

It is clear Mitsuki is a perfect sage with a weak body that cannot handle it, it is why he is amped way higher than any other Character his age in the series apart from Boruto and Kawaki. Also with Kabuto you state he looks like a snake and is imperfect, so how you use him as an example of strength. Although he says he is a perfect sage. I was pretty sure that Kabuto was able to liquify his organs because he absorbed Suigetsu's DNA/cells- at least that's what was implied. Although that does make it a very bizarre jutsu because only someone from Suigetsu's clan who was also a snake sage could use it and not be affected.

Following the logic that few people survive Orochimaru's Cursed Marks, and those people could be people compatible with taking on a Sage Mode, wouldn't it stand to reason that Sasuke not going on to become a Snake Sage is kind of a missed opportunity there?

I understand your reluctance to call Mitsuki a perfect sage due to his appearance but it’s been stated that he also uses Sage Transformation, which is Jugo’s ability. I think that’s why he grows the horn. You’ll notice though, that some times he doesn’t have the horn, which is when I think he’s only using Sage Mode.
True and it also conflicts with the fact that despite kabuto having horns like mitsuki Albeit much much smaller and he’s confirmed to have perfect sage mode but also may be using sage transformation unconsciously with it as well since he also has jugos kekkei genkai while having learned perfect sage mode from the white snake sage.

I thought that Kabuto didn't get Snake Sage mode from Orochimaru's cells but rather went to Ryuchi cave himself and, with his strengthened body that was modified by all sorts of things, was strong enough to become a perfect snake sage. He even calls himself a dragon because he's a perfect snake sage which is a reference to mythology that snakes can evolve into dragons.
I think the "earth curse seal" works by boosting the innate abilities of the user(kimimaro kekkai genkai) meanwhile the "heaven curse seal" will give the user animalistic features based on their animal affinity, the heaven seal does nothing to sasuke's sharingan..don't know how far from the truth this thought is.

There is literally no difference ever seen or explained. Anything we can think of would just be head cannon. They both operate exactly the same. 2 release forms and carry a piece or orochimarus Chakra so he can either tale over the body or resurrect.
You forgot to mention Madara as a Sage of 6 Paths user. He even used Sage Arts he only had access to in that form. Another way of becoming a 6 Paths Sage besides being gifted it by Hagoromo, is by becoming a perfect 10 Tails Jinchūriki. Since Obito's bond with the 10 Tails was imperfect to the point he couldn't use Kamui or Rinnegan abilities, he might not have been one.

What always bothered me is how naruto is supposed to be weaker since the whole kurama incident…. But naruto is a perfect sage mode user and nature energy is literally endless energy because nature isn’t going anywhere.
Naruto is still a uzumaki so lore wise he should be able to take in alottttttt plus that’s just with one body he can use shadow clones and since he can make a rasengun and rasen rasenshuriken without needing clones he should have even more clones to be able to store up chakra

Just because he can take a lot doesn’t mean it’s gonna be infinite and it was established way back when he learned sage mode that he can only have so many clones before it gets difficult for some reason (I can’t remember the exact reason). Sure he should be able to last longer per charge (which Boruto established he can) and be able to make a few more clones but it’s never gonna be infinite.
Don't forget that toad sage mode gives you near impenetrable skin. And alsoidk if it was ever comfirmed if the sensory abilities it gives you are general sage abilities or specific to toad sages.
Sage mode eyes are the most badass... it's not even all that complex looking like ms but still it give chills when naruto is really calm and activates sage mode..

Also, I think the reason why Hashirama's wood style is so strong isn't because Hashirama is simply just really good at it, but because it is ALWAYS being enhanced by senjutsu chakra.

I think the stick that pa hit Naruto with to expell the excess sage Chakra looked kind of like the black rods from the truth seeking orbs Madara used. Maybe that's the reason it was able to release the nature energy so easily. It's possible that the black rods were remnants left behind before humans learned ninjutsu. Just a theory.
My theory about hashiramas Sage mode always was that he's always pulling in nature energy (be it consciously or subconsciously) and he always keeps it minimal below the Threshold so he can 'flip it' like he always did. since he so much chakra it would take years to getting his chakra depleted low enough so that the portion of nature chakra would outweigh it. my second guess is that Woodirama is just stupid op haha
This was a cool video and it cleared up a little lore I didn't fully understand from watching Naruto. But most of all, it just reaffirms to me (from the end bit about sage of six paths mode) that there should've been more manga/anime about Naruto and not passing off stuff to his kid in a new subpar recreation of the original show.
I got the sense that there were multiple curse seals, not just heaven and earth. All of the Sound 4 had different markings, and references were made to heaven being the strongest and earth being the second strongest, which are weird ways to describe them if there’s only two levels. Kinda like saying you were the runner-up in a 1-on-1 competition. The rest of this is pure head canon but I figured the Sound 4 had like… fire, wind, water, and lightning curse marks or something like that. Then Kimimaro, as the leader, got the earth mark, and Sasuke, as the new leader and the latest one, got the heaven mark

The Rinnegan can't perceive Senjutsu attacks/ Frog kata. The only reason Kabuto could liquify his body was due to incorporating the Sound Five and Team Taka's (Except Sasuke's) abilities into his body. Not because of his Dragon Sage mode.
Wouldn’t Hashirama’s sage mode be related to his Buddha statues. Like a “Buddhist sage mode” type thing? He uses Buddhist monk/god type statues/golems, as well as deity gates meant for temples. And his strong wood release and deep forest bloom/emergence could also be connected to the Buddha’s view of a peaceful coexistence and understanding of nature itself.
I think Hashirama's sage-mode was connected to his wood-style. Instead of learning nature-energy from animals, I think he learned it by studying plants, especially his wood-style.
I didn't think the toad merger technique was unique to Jiraiya. They tried to teach it to Naruto, but kurama wouldn't let the merge happen. Also, while the technique helps the user balance the nature energy, it isn't more for the user to be able to move while the toads gather the energy for them.
I think sage mode is something that Sakura shouldve got if Kishi wanted to make believable that she caught up to the other two. Her chakra control is stated to be one of the Best in the series SO she should be able to Master it and also if sage chakra is molding Nature chakra with your own due to her huge amount of stored chakra in the byakugo seal should make her ability to mold sage chakra greater than anybody else's. And since the byakugo seal makes her body heal on a celular level sage mode wouldnt take a toll on her, just like Gojo using RCT to heal his brain to make up for the six eyes.

Mount Myōboku does exist on the same dimension as Earth. It is mentioned that it takes a month to travel there from Konoha, so it is possible to get there without Reverse Summoning Jutsu.

My theory is hashirama sage mode is an advanced version of slug sage mode. It's how kabuto said he "ascended" past a snake sage and claimed he was now a dragon.
Hashirama's sage mode is just pure nature energy. The guy was the only person to naturally have wood release. Wood is alive and his wood release, as far as I can deduce, seems to be more like senjutsu than typical ninjutsu. Which explains why it consumed Danzo who didn't have enough chakra to control it, or balance it out like senjutsu if you will.
i definitely feel like you should talk about Naruto's "hidden abilities" like how he should be able to use wood style and possibly Hashiramas sage mode edit: the chakra avatar too would be awesome
I don’t think there’s only two types of Curse Marks from Orochimaru. Orochimaru mentions to Kimimaro that Sasuke had a Heaven mark, to match Kimimaro’s earth mark (or something along those lines), which makes me thing that those are just the two strongest ones, and the others are different but weaker

I like to believe Hashirama was a "Human Sage". Like, it wasn't an animal in the sense we normally think, but the human animal. If Hashirama did this sage mode wrong, he would have petrified as a human statue. Being the "Human Sage", would make a lot of thematical sense for who Hashirama was as well.

Ma and pa bonding isn’t jiraiya exclusive. Pa explicitly says the only reason they can’t do it with naruto is because he’s a jinchuriki and the tailed beast chakra prevents them from doing it. So they can do it with basically anyone that’s not a jinchuriki.

Following the logic that few people survive Orochimaru's Cursed Marks, and those people could be people compatible with taking on a Sage Mode, wouldn't it stand to reason that Sasuke not going on to become a Snake Sage is kind of a missed opportunity there?
In a way I think he is always a sage since Hugo used part of his body to repair the damage done by 8 tails, but im not 100% sure if it works that way

I understand your reluctance to call Mitsuki a perfect sage due to his appearance but it’s been stated that he also uses Sage Transformation, which is Jugo’s ability. I think that’s why he grows the horn. You’ll notice though, that some times he doesn’t have the horn, which is when I think he’s only using Sage Mode.
True and it also conflicts with the fact that despite kabuto having horns like mitsuki Albeit much much smaller and he’s confirmed to have perfect sage mode but also may be using sage transformation unconsciously with it as well since he also has jugos kekkei genkai while having learned perfect sage mode from the white snake sage.

The sad thing about Sage Mode is... we can't really compare different Sage Modes to each other, because we've never seen different Sage Modes be used against each other.

I thought that Kabuto didn't get Snake Sage mode from Orochimaru's cells but rather went to Ryuchi cave himself and, with his strengthened body that was modified by all sorts of things, was strong enough to become a perfect snake sage. He even calls himself a dragon because he's a perfect snake sage which is a reference to mythology that snakes can evolve into dragons.
I think the "earth curse seal" works by boosting the innate abilities of the user(kimimaro kekkai genkai) meanwhile the "heaven curse seal" will give the user animalistic features based on their animal affinity, the heaven seal does nothing to sasuke's sharingan..don't know how far from the truth this thought is.
Earth curse seal. Doesn’t allow orochimaru to possess you. It’s the weaker seal. The heavens seal literally seals orochimaru inside your body and soul.
Which is why he only gives it to those he wishes to Eventually take over.

There is literally no difference ever seen or explained. Anything we can think of would just be head cannon. They both operate exactly the same. 2 release forms and carry a piece or orochimarus Chakra so he can either tale over the body or resurrect.

You forgot to mention Madara as a Sage of 6 Paths user. He even used Sage Arts he only had access to in that form. Another way of becoming a 6 Paths Sage besides being gifted it by Hagoromo, is by becoming a perfect 10 Tails Jinchūriki. Since Obito's bond with the 10 Tails was imperfect to the point he couldn't use Kamui or Rinnegan abilities, he might not have been one.

What always bothered me is how naruto is supposed to be weaker since the whole kurama incident…. But naruto is a perfect sage mode user and nature energy is literally endless energy because nature isn’t going anywhere.
Nature energy may be limitless but the chakra you have to mix it with to create senjutsu chakra isn’t.
Naruto is still a uzumaki so lore wise he should be able to take in alottttttt plus that’s just with one body he can use shadow clones and since he can make a rasengun and rasen rasenshuriken without needing clones he should have even more clones to be able to store up chakra

Just because he can take a lot doesn’t mean it’s gonna be infinite and it was established way back when he learned sage mode that he can only have so many clones before it gets difficult for some reason (I can’t remember the exact reason). Sure he should be able to last longer per charge (which Boruto established he can) and be able to make a few more clones but it’s never gonna be infinite.

Also, I think the reason why Hashirama's wood style is so strong isn't because Hashirama is simply just really good at it, but because it is ALWAYS being enhanced by senjutsu chakra.

Im pretty sure that Ma and Pa on Jiraya’s shoulder isn’t exclusive to him, if I remember right it didnt work when they tried with Naruto before the pain fight because Kurama didnt like that naruto was relying on sage mode instead of his chakra
The toads were also on Naruto's shoulder during his fight with pain they left to deal with pains animals

Kabuto can absorb nature energy because he grafted Jugo's flesh onto his own and he can liquefy his body because he grafted Suigetsu's flesh onto his own as well.

I think the stick that pa hit Naruto with to expell the excess sage Chakra looked kind of like the black rods from the truth seeking orbs Madara used. Maybe that's the reason it was able to release the nature energy so easily. It's possible that the black rods were remnants left behind before humans learned ninjutsu. Just a theory.

My theory about hashiramas Sage mode always was that he's always pulling in nature energy (be it consciously or subconsciously) and he always keeps it minimal below the Threshold so he can 'flip it' like he always did. since he so much chakra it would take years to getting his chakra depleted low enough so that the portion of nature chakra would outweigh it.

This was a cool video and it cleared up a little lore I didn't fully understand from watching Naruto. But most of all, it just reaffirms to me (from the end bit about sage of six paths mode) that there should've been more manga/anime about Naruto and not passing off stuff to his kid in a new subpar recreation of the original show.
I got the sense that there were multiple curse seals, not just heaven and earth. All of the Sound 4 had different markings, and references were made to heaven being the strongest and earth being the second strongest, which are weird ways to describe them if there’s only two levels. Kinda like saying you were the runner-up in a 1-on-1 competition. The rest of this is pure head canon but I figured the Sound 4 had like… fire, wind, water, and lightning curse marks or something like that. Then Kimimaro, as the leader, got the earth mark, and Sasuke, as the new leader and the latest one, got the heaven mark
Fun fact about some Japanese myths. Serpents are seen as imperfect dragons. Which makes sense because Japan thinks of dragons as the kind that live underwater and look like serpents with legs 🐉

The only reason Kabuto could liquify his body was due to incorporating the Sound Five and Team Taka's (Except Sasuke's) abilities into his body. Not because of his Dragon Sage mode.

Wouldn’t Hashirama’s sage mode be related to his Buddha statues. Like a “Buddhist sage mode” type thing? He uses Buddhist monk/god type statues/golems, as well as deity gates meant for temples. And his strong wood release and deep forest bloom/emergence could also be connected to the Buddha’s view of a peaceful coexistence and understanding of nature itself.
I think Hashirama's sage-mode was connected to his wood-style. Instead of learning nature-energy from animals, I think he learned it by studying plants, especially his wood-style.
I didn't think the toad merger technique was unique to Jiraiya. They tried to teach it to Naruto, but kurama wouldn't let the merge happen.
Also, while the technique helps the user balance the nature energy, it isn't more for the user to be able to move while the toads gather the energy for them.
I think sage mode is something that Sakura shouldve got if Kishi wanted to make believable that she caught up to the other two.
Her chakra control is stated to be one of the Best in the series SO she should be able to Master it and also if sage chakra is molding Nature chakra with your own due to her huge amount of stored chakra in the byakugo seal should make her ability to mold sage chakra greater than anybody else's.
And since the byakugo seal makes her body heal on a celular level sage mode wouldnt take a toll on her, just like Gojo using RCT to heal his brain to make up for the six eyes.

My theory is hashirama sage mode is an advanced version of slug sage mode. It's how kabuto said he "ascended" past a snake sage and claimed he was now a dragon.
Hashirama's sage mode is just pure nature energy. The guy was the only person to naturally have wood release. Wood is alive and his wood release, as far as I can deduce, seems to be more like senjutsu than typical ninjutsu. Which explains why it consumed Danzo who didn't have enough chakra to control it, or balance it out like senjutsu if you will.
I call that form Wood Sage Mode, as it seems only people with the Mokuton, artificially or not, can do it.

Orochimaru mentions to Kimimaro that Sasuke had a Heaven mark, to match Kimimaro’s earth mark (or something along those lines), which makes me thing that those are just the two strongest ones, and the others are different but weaker

I like to believe Hashirama was a "Human Sage". Like, it wasn't an animal in the sense we normally think, but the human animal. If Hashirama did this sage mode wrong, he would have petrified as a human statue. Being the "Human Sage", would make a lot of thematical sense for who Hashirama was as well.

Ma and pa bonding isn’t jiraiya exclusive. Pa explicitly says the only reason they can’t do it with naruto is because he’s a jinchuriki and the tailed beast chakra prevents them from doing it. So they can do it with basically anyone that’s not a jinchuriki.
I think people have pointed it out, but i think Hashirama had wood of Forest Sage Mode. As in his generation of trees through the wood release allowed him to basically absorb the nature chakra from them as he used wood release techniques.

Remember that theory that hashirama expels live energy for wood release wouldn't it make better sense that he has a special kekkei genkai that let's him pull in nature energy thus why Madera could use sage mode right away after having his cells, hashirama probably just studied and figured it out on his own maybe with some advice from tobirama or smth, also this explains why his wood is the only one that has leaves and what not.
