Driving from Douglas-Charles Airport to Roseau, Dominica 1 of 3

In this video, I'm driving from Douglas-Charles Airport, Dominica to Roseau, Dominica, which is the capital of Dominica. When I was in Martinique, because a lot of roads look so similar, when it came to long drives, I did quite a bit of editing to make it bearable to watch. Because Dominica was so unique and filled with marvelous beautiful plant life on the road to Roseau, I wanted to show you everything. So this video will be 1 of 3 videos, that's how long the drive was. It took me 1 hour and a 30 min from the north left side to get through the island and to the lower right side. Hope you enjoy, and stay tuned for the other parts.
From the airport, you drive out and make a right and right passed the yellow bridge, you make the first left and that should be Dr. Nicholas Liverpool Highway. You keep following that until you get to a circle and then keep straight after that onto Imperial Road. Then you keep left onto Edward Oliver Leblanc Highway which is also Goodwill Road until you reach Roseau.

Thank you for reminding of such a great arrival in to Dominica. I visited back in 2005 and remember landing on this lush island, and the remarkably beautiful drive through lush Caribbean rainforest to Roussea. As someone that's lived and travelled throughout the Caribbean, Dominica has a vibe all its own.

Wow, as a Venezuelan, I worked on the expansion of the Douglas-Charles Airport in 2005 with the Venezuela Army and I walked along all those roads that I remember were so beautiful, it brought me to see and be in thought again along those beautiful roads.

Just from the start of the video, it is so true to the initial confusion that driving on the other side creates. I knew the theory of manual shifting, but learned for real my honeymoon in England... I had no incentive to preserve my clutch, so I rode it at uphill stopsigns. Bad bad boy!
The first test is pulling away from the curb. I got it on the third try, i.e. coordinate the clutch and gas pedal... what else...oh yeah, speed limit off while going into a one lane twisty road with a lorry just ahead, lmao!
