I don’t care what people say about this movie, in my opinion it’s a great film, it seems people are now just focusing on the people who dislike the movie more than the people who like it, and in all honesty who the hell cares about what the critics or the media think, I LOVE THIS MOVIE, and I’ll always be watching with excitement even if I’ve already watched it over and over, and I’ll never stop watching it even if people tell it’s bad couse in my opinion they are wrong.
The movie is good but it is evident that something is missing. Anyone with a basic knowledge of Aquaman knows that Mera cannot be reduced to such a small role. She is more powerful that Aquaman himself, besides the mother of child hardly appears, when Mera is known to be a doting mother. At least in the last part of the movie she shows up and do what Mera does best, kicking ass.
While I don’t think the DCEU necessarily had bad actors, but I do think they didn’t have enough time to act before the movie was released and the writers expect them to do it without reading any of the comic books.
There is a difference between being a good actress or a good person she lied and manipulated Johnny Depp abused him she made him lose most of his roles with the lies she created so its only fair she lost the role in the aquaman
@@Jurian2004 It didn't happen, and she's also contracted to continue to appear as Mera in the DCU. Heard isn't innocent but Depp was no angel either. In my opinion the Heard and Depp supporters both need to move on.
Frankly this was a great ending for Mamoa and a new beginning for Wilson. Wilson looks like comic book Aquaman but Mamoa needed to make the role badass. Here is the perfect opportunity for Wilson to become Aquaman and Mamoa to go on and be Lobo. Just say that Mamoa's Aquaman retired or disappeared.
While I do think these 2 flicks were a bit overloaded with special effects, they make a nice 2-part story. It's a shame Vulko had to perish offscreen between them.

How can you cut the most powerful character in Aquaman? Mera is equally important in an Aquaman story as Arthur, Any Aquafan knows that aquaman is about Arthur and Mera.
Obviously every true DC fan knows the DCEU is over, but I can’t help but think about all the people that enjoyed these movies but are not actively following the studios decisions. Some probably never knew Henry stopped being Superman, came back, and left again and some will be wondering when Man of steel 2, Aquaman 3, Flash 2, and Justice League with Darkseid’s invasion will be coming out. Every movie that keeps building a shared universe is a promise, most of all Justice League Snyder cut, Warner Bros should have finished this universe before starting a clean slate.
The MVP for this final DCEU movie it goes to Patrick Wilson as Orm. Why? I felt like he is the most allout actor compared to other actors & actress in this movie, the acting & dialogue has made him the best character in aquaman franchise. I also felt like this movie highlights him more by knowing the redemption arc from Orm that want to fix his relationship with Arthur and that made me felt sympathy with Orm. Cuz I dont think he is that evil to become an anti hero, he literally outstanded arthur curry/aka aquaman. And honestly I liked this movie way more than previous last year DCEU movies, because of Patrick Wilson really carried this movie alot 👏👏
My old cousin( he is 55) join me when I was watching this movie. He was supposed to stay for at least 2 weeks, but he let the day after 😂 ... Sure now people at the village must think I'm a devil
So, lemme get this straight: KING Orm, former KING of Atlantis and literally the ONLY legitimate heir to the throne based on actual birth rite is ok getting told to fuck the fuck off and assist his "mongrel" half brother from the shadows? Ya, DC is lost beyond all recognition. Bringing him back as a redeemed hero would have been SO easy and that redemption would've been an actually good story, as he was a flawed but otherwise well-written character in the first movie. But instead, they fucking neuter yet another pivotal character. It's truly amazing how badly the DCEU wants to achieve abject failure at any cost imaginable.
Wrong on all counts, Orm is not the legitimate King or by birthright. Arthur is the first born, the throne belongs to the first born to a member of the Royal family by Atlan's law. Orm's father had a daughter Tula from another woman, she is not considered as royalty. Arthur is the chosen one, he is the only Atlantean that has the same powers as ATlan. In comics when Orm learns that he has an elder brother he cedes the throne peacefully. Later when Arthur abdicates he passes the throne to Orm again but Orm is dubbed in attacking the surface and Arthur has to stop him by reclaiming the throne. Orm is not a pivotal character in Aquaman, the pivotal characters in Aquaman are Arthur and Mera.
@@chrisgrech7992 notice how virtually the entirety of your argument is based on the comic. This is NOT the comic. Your statement is disqualifying in this regard, as the DCEU (much like all superhero cinema) makes meaningful departures from its comic book roots to tell a new story. In this version, Orm started a war and was hellbent on assassinating his brother to prevent even the possibility of him usurping the throne, but then in AM2, just accepts that he's inferior, and this makes 0%sense.
@@NPC_maga The Aquaman movie was written by Geoff Johns the same person who also wrote the comic. Which means there are no departures between comics and DCEU, except slight changes as Johns himself explained that in a 2hr movie you can't put everything in a movie. He also said that he kept as much as possible in the story, the most important elements of his run, in an origin movie. Among which the throne belongs to the first born. The movie is based mostly on Throne of Atlantis run. If there is an authority on Aquaman its Geoff Johns, who wrote both comic and movie story. It was Johns who made Orm a misguided character who is not entirely evil. Orm is not even close in terms of strength or powers to either Arthur or Mera.
I feel bad for all the citizens of Necrus. Some of them were innocent & didn't choose to be turned into monsters in the first place if it wasn't for Kordax, they deserve to be restored to their normal selves instead of being destroyed.
I really hate Amber heard had to turn to be such person cause I absolutely love Mera. Their love and chemistry in the first movie was great which was lacking in this. Though still she was good, not much but enough, but the brothers scenes were nice the best thing in this movie
Without a doubt the greatest superhero movie ever made and the greatest DC movie ewer made. I'm so glad amber Heard got her redemption, she s really nice and kind and not crazy...Johnny Depp lied about everything and tried to exploit her...Orm will always be the greatest king ever but gave it all up for Arthur. The plot dialogue and character development were outstanding in his film, a true classic and master filmmaking 10/10

Aquaman (2018) is still better. I really loved Orm as villain.
Same. I did still enjoy him getting to redeem himself though.
Characters such as Superman, aquaman, and wonder women can’t be replaced Fr!!!
While I don’t think the DCEU necessarily had bad actors, but I do think they didn’t have enough time to act before the movie was released and the writers expect them to do it without reading any of the comic books.
And now because of gunn will never see this dynamic ever again
Aquaman always screaming 😂
Well that's the magic.
They just had to keep her in it for whatever reason. Incredible.
Orm gave his brother amazing advice
I liked how they redeemed Orm..... and how he ate the cockroach in the end 🤣🤣
Baby have orm hair hehehe🎉😂 cheating
Finally, they were able to remember they are brothers. How great is that, especially in a world of foolishness? I appreciate this movie. Yes, indeed.
Great movie. Only the blind can't see that.
Had this been released early the DCEU might've had a chance. I'm glad they at least ended with an amazing movie.
That’s my favorite movie 💙💙
While I loved the redemption arc, I personally preferred Orm as a villain as Patrick Wilson gave such a more powerful performance in the first movie.
"My dog stepped on a bee"
Careful Aqua Man, Amber Turd might sue you for being too forceful with that kiss you just gave her.
He used his trident Instead of a "bottle" 😄
That would be Jasonpilot and lambpilot guards of the galaxy98 and ethan hunt on mission impossible 2. 💂♂️
It's a shame they didn't kill off her character. Leaves it open for her to return.
Hopefully, DC has the foresight to recast before the next movie.
For all of the hate, I still think Amber Heard is a fine actress. + I don’t think Johnny Depp is an angel either.
@@tringuyen7519 Compared to Amber he is, considering that she ruined his career and is a pathological liar.
Unpopular opinion: I like Amber Heard (as Mera).
She is a good actress and in the first movie Mera was the driving force as it ought to be in an Aquaman story.
There is a difference between being a good actress or a good person she lied and manipulated Johnny Depp abused him she made him lose most of his roles with the lies she created so its only fair she lost the role in the aquaman
I do to
Me too
Me too.
More like farewell to Amber Heard!
This was the last time Amber Heard played Mera
I bet Jason Momoa I hated kissing Amber in that scene
I hope so.

Damnit....they didn't kill her
😃😂🤣
Maybe they'll have another kid off screen and she'll die in childbirth. 🤞🏻
Bit fuckn dark there mate. You OK?
@@theshillneckedlizard8364 lols, I am good. There was a petition that people wanted amber turd to get removed
@@Jurian2004 It didn't happen, and she's also contracted to continue to appear as Mera in the DCU. Heard isn't innocent but Depp was no angel either. In my opinion the Heard and Depp supporters both need to move on.
The brine king is a badass with that last stand
Yeah and also his soldiers and the xebel they died without a fight
No one is Aquaman except Jason Momoa
That night mera shat on aquaman's bed and blamed it on a pet
can't you even distinguish between the character and the actress? Mera is an awesome character, even more powerful than Arthur himself.
@@chrisgrech7992 she put Jack sparrow through a lot

If you really stand with Amber heard, Hell awaits you
Frankly this was a great ending for Mamoa and a new beginning for Wilson.
I loved the movie...It just had bad major from Amber.! The movie was fantastic...very good acting..and affectes..awesome...hope there's a 3..❤
Cant believe i wasted my money on this movie. YAHYAH ABDUL made the movie for me , well atleast i have THE BATMAN
Better than wasting your money on masturbating
THE BATMAN sucked. It is boring and had no heart

RIP DCEU (2013-2023)
Amber Turd marked the ending of DC
I know Gunn took over but a part of me wants an Orm film starring Patrick Wilson. I'd love to see that!
DC had EVERYTHING when it came to a Cinematic Universe and fumbled it so hard. Marvel took a C Tier superhero team and turned it into a billionaire brand while DC took an established team and burnt it to the ground. Marvel may have gone downhill, but at least they suceeded.
It’s like they didn’t even cut Amber Heard out of the movie at all
They gave her a smaller role compared to the first one.
How can you cut the most powerful character in Aquaman? Mera is equally important in an Aquaman story as Arthur, Any Aquafan knows that aquaman is about Arthur and Mera.
@@chrisgrech7992 you can blame Amber Turd for that, being the lying bitch that she is. Ruining another actor's reputation and career.
@@chrisgrech7992 it was so unfair to JD to lose his contracts but this btch no
1:08 those kissing scene doesn't look real lol.
my dog stepped on a bee the entire time i watched this
Obviously every true DC fan knows the DCEU is over, but I can’t help but think about all the people that enjoyed these movies but are not actively following the studios decisions.
Aquaman as Wan said was a standalone in both movies, detached from the rest of the DCEU
One thing this movie does good is make aquaman a decently cool character
Mera: dr Shin, I left a surprise on your bed.
So good.
The end is a beginning.
1:46-3:40 Oh, this is much better than watching them fight each other
Was a great movie 9/10. I would've given it 10/10 if it weren't for Amber Turd.
was a great movie 9/10 more like dogshit movie. f*** off. i'm going see superman
Don't care what the box office said. I liked this movie 😊
The box office wasn't bad at all since this movie was not even marketed by WB
1:42 His claw got off. Again! XD
I never opt to see any of the Aquaman movies, I wish I could have though, Aquaman was one of my favorite comics I read. 😩😢😥
Thank you so much for the love and support ❤❤ I will appreciate to hear more from you ❤
the crab guy is basically gimli lmao
Not sure why James Wan recasted Amber. Thought he would have better morals than that.
When will Aquaman Number 3 be released. Can’t wait for number 3
Aquaman 2 is great and nice to watch man !!
Tremenda película me encantó y más con Jason Momoa ❤❤❤
Thanks for your support ❤️
Will there be more of Aquaman?
Who told them that the high pitched scream thing was cool.
Imagine you waited thousands of years just to be killed by a single blow...
They are in the middle of an iceberg and their breaths didn't condense.
I feel bad for all the citizens of Necrus. Some of them were innocent & didn't choose to be turned into monsters in the first place if it wasn't for Kordax, they deserve to be restored to their normal selves instead of being destroyed.
Watch out Artur, she sh*ts the bed.
This is one of my favorite movies in 2023🥺😊
Nice to see them working together
Thank you so much for the love and support 💕
How are you doing?
I really hate Amber heard had to turn to be such person cause I absolutely love Mera. Their love and chemistry in the first movie was great which was lacking in this. Though still she was good, not much but enough, but the brothers scenes were nice the best thing in this movie
That's what I like to see a family together again
Without a doubt the greatest superhero movie ever made and the greatest DC movie ewer made. I'm so glad amber Heard got her redemption, she s really nice and kind and not crazy...Johnny Depp lied about everything and tried to exploit her...Orm will always be the greatest king ever but gave it all up for Arthur. The plot dialogue and character development were outstanding in his film, a true classic and master filmmaking 10/10
I didn't know that you knew Johnny and heards life so well. Huh! Who da thunk
with this ending signals the finale of the DCEU universe.
It will reset with only a few characters remaining in the reboot.
Those are Amanda Waller, Peacemaker, and Blue Beetle.
Sad to see the rest of them go except the flash.
Aquaman's best quality is compassion
I wonder how hard it was for Jason to be around amber teard. Hope he is doing okay
Poor Brine King… lost his claw twice.
