I am farmer in Australia and love watching these American farmers farm. I see 3 ways you could’ve solved this. First solution - Design the yards better, meaning have a lane way instead open yard without troughs. Second solution - Make sure yards are steel not fences. Third solution - bring first cattle back so all the cattle together when going in yards finally would you like me to show you how’s it’s done. If so fly me over to America and I will show you how’s it done lol
For as many as we send through it’s only happened once but I do agree that it should be pipe at least all the way to the gates so it doesn’t happen again.
Love your videos but man when you get that group headed into the pens you gotta push push push not sit back and let them second guess then turn around on you that’s when you always loose em.
I understand what you’re saying but man it’s a fine line sometimes on wether to give them time to find the hole or to go with them. Sometimes if you push hard you could send a group through the fence that normally wouldn’t have. Either way there needs to be a longer stretch of straight pipe fencing to push hard and get it done!
"I hope this goes smooth, but it never really does" pretty much sums up the process of working cattle
I’ve always liked your working pens’ setup.
Sometimes they just want to hack you off! That’s a nice group of calves, they will really look their best when they are on the trailer 👍

The look on your face and your words OK we’re gonna try it again gave me a chuckle that’s a lively group
Working cattle is like cooking a brisket low and slow!
You should get someone go fly the drone while you catch, sort and ship. An overview would look amazing. Keep up the good work! 💪🏼
Cattle:...."run for your life, Run Forrest Run!!"
Good to see a video from you bro
Awesome video good upbeat music to ..
Enjoyed the video man.
good video good luck man y'all stay safe
A great attempt!
The second group definitely did not want to go in. Hope y'all have a good day
How many steps do you get in on an average day? I can imagine it is MUCH higher when you are sorting.
One word horses
Do you guys ever use charolai bulls?
Good vid
Are cattle prices in America crazy good right now too? stores are selling really strongly in Ireland
Yes
They aren’t terrible but it’s not even close to reflecting the high prices in the stores.
I saw that coming. That whole line needs replaced with that same metal tube. With crazy cattle cause they will destroy anything in there way

I know its expensive but in the long term be more helpful. Specially with the breed of cattle you guys have
My goodness Colton are those calves part deer?
That one striped steer could pass as a deer any day!
