The whole end of JCP/beginning of WCW era was probably the BEST era for tag team. You had Arn & Tully, The Midnight Express, Road Warriors, Rock & Roll Express, Powers of Pain(YEAH...the Powers of Pain). You had the Freebirds coming thru the Carolinas here and there, right?
WWF had some teams I would have loved to see in JCP at that time...Hart Foundation vs Arn & Tully? Midnights vs Killer Bees? Islanders vs Rock & Roll? Windham/Rotunda vs Powers of Pain? The British Bulldogs Vs Doom(Simmons/Reed)? The Strongbows vs Road Warriors? Valentine/Beefer Vs Freebirds?
Thats not even mentioning AWA, mid South/UWF, WCCW, Florida.
I’m thinking the title of this video goes with another video. Undertaker must have been watching the same shows I did growing up. Tully and Arn have been my # 1 since 1986. Midnight was my 2nd. I did not like the Rock and Roll at the time but now look at them differently and with the respect they deserve. And there was nothing like the first couple of years when the Road Warriors came on the scene. Hearing the start of Iron Man always got your attention
Ohhh yeeaahh!!! My all-time tag team rankings are the same and I also came to respect the R&R much later than I should have.
