Note: Overhaul started by calling Mirio "Mr. Student". By the end of their fight, he called him "Lemillion". Even Overhaul had no choice but to acknowledge that the one who was facing him wasn't a student but a hero.
Chisaki absolutely hates touching someone else, and that's partly why he always wears a plague mask and forces his underlings to do so as well. So the reason he's not fusing with everyone to power up is because the idea is unbearable to him.
He only did it as a last resort because of how far Mirio pushed him.
pain is also being ignored to move the plot n stuff, but it would hurt A LOT.
@@kriegnes Overhaul mentions it but definitely I think it would have benefited from the voice actor getting to scream out of pain more or at least grunt and complain about it a little bit more than he already did
20:49 Nighteye's predictions are perfectly accurate, but the further he looks into the future the more inaccurate the exact timing is. So what he saw will still happen, but he can't pinpoint the exact time.
When fighting Chisaki, Nighteye repeated his foresight at 1 second intervals, so the timing was precise and he was able to move accordingly. However, when he looked to far he saw that both Deku and himself were gonna get killed, which made him break his concentration for a single moment, which allowed Chisaki to pierce him in first place.
I think Rock Lock only mentioned Deku and Nighteye because they're the ones he butted heads with during preparations. He was fine with Aizawa from the start.
Nighteye said that the further in the future he uses his Quirk, the less he can narrow the exact time at which it'll take place. But even if he can't tell precisely when, events always end up happening exactly as he predicted.

Technically we've seen someone lose their quirk before. OFA took on of the pussycats quirks in s3... and he still has it btw... 😬

@@xogarrett3325 I believe it's called "Search" it's essentially a high powered recon quirk. Gathering data on up to 100 people he can see. Which I believe includes information on their quirks. Especially dangerous in his hands
@@xogarrett3325 Search, it allows the user to know the exact location and weakness of up to a hundred people that the user has seen before.
10:06 Overhaul's quirk is disassemble and re-assemble - so he disassembled both Nemoto and himself and reassembled them as one - basically he merged their bodies, although in the mind it's only him.

it may have been a long time running but this fight is what made me finally really enjoy dekus character

I love Deku since episode one of S1
So like does it have anything to do with Deku or only because of the flashy fight because he doesnt do a single thing we wouldnt expect him to do before this arc

Chisaki can fuse with others anytime he wants... But he chooses to do so only in dire situations like right now... He's a germaphobe and hates someone touching him so fusing is out of question in a normal situation where he can just overpower someone himself

Also, subjectively, not the biggest fan of how they animated OFA 100% for Deku. Probably my biggest pet peeve with that episode, although the finishing blast was done very satisfactory.

overhaul is my fav villain in the hole show and has one of strongest quirks to
Togata lost his quirk with that red bullet, those permanently get rid of your quirk with the technicalities of how they work.
Sam looks bigger 👀 in this episode for some reason.

This is my favorite arc in the anime, and this whole fight is so intense! I love it so much, and I am so glad you both get to see it now. It gets wicked cool next episode!

the dub has pretty good dialogue whether people think the VAs are good or not. the subtitles have a very different choice in words or have a completely different sentences with MHA. i definitely prefer the dub bc the dialogue is way better
I agree except for certain specific pieces of dialogue that changed into more arbitrary lines that are harder to decipher. Usually having to do with how people's Powers work or sometimes one-liner is about how people are feeling
