A “ mini “ monkey ? U know there are extremely Small monkeys .., tarsiers / Pygmy marmoset , etc .. anyway I didn’t see it. Stopped video prob. Much earlier than that part & just happening to go through the comments on the way to the next video 😂. No telling what it was but I’d have to examine it closely to give my insight .
Ok I saw it and NO... that’s NOT a monkey ... it’s more like some sort of rodent species ... def. not a monkey .. you do know though , monkeys aren’t that big for it to appear as a “ mini monkey “... they often ( esp old world monkeys like macaques & pretty much all the new world monkeys ) are only 1-2 feet high tops ... and much smaller than that appear , when recorded closeup without humans anywhere in the shot to give an idea pf their size .. while apes are much larger , Monkeys would be nearly that size ( if it’s relative to what’s being presented and not enlarged a great deal lol, but look at the cranial/ brow ridge or absence of it and the ocular path and muzzle .. looks totally off to be able to be some kind of monkey,, looks like some capybara pr other sort of rodent by way of the fur mat staining present at the top where it would’ve been , as well as with the tail and while it appears to have tarsals / metatarsals which are rather difficult to really clearly see , they do not look like that of monkey feet ( that look like scary nasty warped looking human hands , with a pivotal wrist and a toe that would be more like a shorter opposed thumb ... if anything , it looked like maybe something that would be capable of digging / burrowing and that of a vegetarian with the looks of its jaw , but since I can’t see the teeth ,can’t fully determine that.. one could easily do brain scans on the bones and still attain some more in-depth insight , as well as extracting within the bones , materiel to test the structure &,dna .. I’ve not watched that part so I’m only looking visually and throwing out my words on the subject 😂. It looks in the body - however , with exception of a longer spine with a floating clavicle , like that of a cat but I know it’s not 😂. Looks like it could do some running but wouldn’t ever have need to walk bipedally based really on its bone structure which is still hard to tell. It’s the head that throws me off and makes me Think it’s some sort of rodent though. That large involvement going on just looks rodent - ish 😂 .. a monkey skeleton would look like some weird warped version of our own , but not to be exact in the slightest .. the hips / placement of the legs would be totally different , with more of the same structure you’d see in our shoulder , allowing them to brachiate and their legs are oddly placed to the side and further out .. they look weird. Monkeys are just creepy looking imo ,with at least 1/2 their features 😂. Anyway , it’s the head that’s most different ... Also , monkeys are going to have one set of limbs much longer than the other ( usually the arms ) snd this looks make like something that didn’t have as long a stride. Even could be opossum or rat looking with that tail going on and body curvature and wide set face and muzzle. It looks as if it’s eyes would’ve been affixed to either side rather than fully front facing. But who knows ,right ? .. maybe if I watched it haha. I just stopped the vid when the dude was rambling off typical bs as if he knew something for fact , when there’d be no way of knowing ( about the moth / bat discussion He was attempting to give a talk on of nothing but conjecture and speculation , yet acting so matter of fact about it , which is typical most times someone begins talking bout some animal so called “ evolving “ some trait they have no idea about and haven’t seen any proof over .. anyway.. those are my thoughts ..
