see, i've watched this scene a few times now, and: he doesn't push her away. he's *holding on to her arm.* that's why matthias gives nina that almost disappointed, slightly guilty look when she takes it away, he liked her touching him, he liked her using her grisha powers to warm him up, and he's ashamed of that. but not so much that he doesn't smile a little to himself when she's turned her back.
