Do my eyes decieve me or is that light pretty amazing? Really appreciate the quality of your videos. It must require a lot of time and effort but the end results are fantastic!
Some so-called self-defense experts argue that short bursts of turbo mode are much more effective than strobe modes because strobe light also has a negative effect on both sides and if you have photosensitive epilepsy then strobe light can be a nightmare for you. For me a good tactical flashlight should have direct access to turbo mode and moon or lowest light mode.
@@YuhNinja The moonlight mode will not interfere with the natural ability of our eyes to see in low light conditions which are usually used by hunters or soldiers to navigate in dark places, read maps and minimize the possibility of being detected. Red light or other colors are also used in these conditions but the drawback is that we will have difficulty seeing certain colors so moonlight mode is the best solution to help our vision in low light if we want to avoid being detected or disturbing people around us. Using a phone for moonlight and at the same time using a flashlight to produce a high intensity light is not only troublesome but can also get you hurt or even killed in some situations. So a flashlight that has quick access to low lumen and turbo modes is the best tool for "tactical" situations or even for everyday activities.
@@XperiencePureness Okay so basically, moonlight mode is for seal team 6, and normal people, outside of maybe hunters when they are hunting, don't need it.
@@YuhNinja You can use the moonlight mode as a night light when you are camping, reading light, you can also use it as a "candle" when there is a power outage, in public places such as cinemas, theaters or just to save battery. For average joe moonlight mode might be more useful than strobe mode.
Bro just found you; Bro your music is way cooler then the mission you have...And I love it...thank you...I'm getting the flashlight anyway....great job boss!
Great review - I'm buying one of these right now - it will help when my hunt goes Mr Tumble hunting, he's very tricky in long grass or near schools.....
Another excellent video. I have a lot of the flashlights that you do reviews on. I also have the TK20R V2. I went to a local track and this light lit up the whole field and then some (into the surrounding neighborhood). One of my favorite tac flashlights.
Ive just lost my Fenix LD12 125 lm, that Used for every single day for the last 6 years!! I tried al the other suggestions, to replace it, but none comes close!! It's led and it's runtimes, where so much, MUCH better than what they now make. It has also seen a ton of falls, even from a balcony to the street, where I thought it wouldn't work again, and it didn;t even had a single scratch! It looked and worked like day one, until the day I lost it!!! If you find one, GET IT. Stay out of the newer models!! No matter what you see on paper, they all suck!! They don't last a second if not a first fall to the floor neither! They break easily now... I'm really sad I lost that light!!
I've had one of the TK20R V2 flashlights for a few weeks. I like the light but it has some issues. The threaded collar that covers the USB port became very stiff with use. I added some grease to the outside of the bottom of the collar, threaded it up and down a few times to distribute the grease, then wiped away the extra grease. This greatly eased the action of the collar. In addition to the the collar stiffness, this light experiences fallbacks in available brightness modes that occur when the battery is charged and the light is cold or barely warm. The light has to be reset by loosening and tightening the tail cap in order to get high and turbo back, a 2 handed operation. These glitches happen much more often when playing with the light by cycling repeatedly through the the brightness levels and turning it on and off. It glitches occasionally when changing brightness in the normal course of use. I've never had the light glitch when just leaving it set to a brightness level and using it. I shouldn't be able to induce light malfunctions by spamming the buttons tho! Glitches like this are completely unacceptable in a light that purports to be a serious tactical light.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I have 3 arb-l21-5000 V2 batteries. One of them gives lots of problems but only with the TK20R V2. My Fenix E35R chugs with no problems on that same battery. The other 2 batteries give occasional problems again only with the TK20R V2. I have a sample size of 2 lights and 3 batteries but from my perspective the TK20R V2 seems like a dog.
Any idea when you'll be reviewing the new Sofirn C8L 3100 lumens? There have been some reports of discrepancies between the specs and actual measurements of lumens. It would be great to get your feedback on that too. I already ordered mine but I don't have a way to actually measure the lumens..I can only compare with flashlights I already own that have similar output. Thank you!
I enjoy all your videos. Great job. In your opinion, which one would you choose for self defence for it's brightness , quick access to strobe , blindness in case of attack between the TK 20r V2 or the TK 22 Tac? I just can't decide which one to use. Looking forward for your input.
Is this a good flashlight for self defence? I mean to point it on the face of an attacker at close range, at max flashlight power and blind the attacker momentarily?
Hello good Morning. Very good report. Thank you very much. I would like to know what differences there are in terms of the use or application of the Fénix Tk 22 TAC and Fénix Tk 20R v2 flashlights. They are very similar. Which offers more power? One has more lumens but less candela and the other less lumens but more reach and candela. which one is more powerful? Regards, and thank you very much

This video my friend is why I have come to look forward to watching your reviews plus your videos - right on keep up the nice job. As for the flashlight it’s one that I would actually purchase it seems to be a well suited light that does most everything the way I use one. Thank You and keep your very nice videos coming, Cheers
Brother, mine locks down to 3 modes only eco, low , med as soon the battery indicator starts showing red light. I cannot access high and turbo when battery indicator is constant red. It is still 50%, half of backup is available. Is it the same case with yours.
What's the difference between the ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 and the first version? Higher discharge current? I can't seem to find any literature on this. The Fenix website mentions the v2.0 21700 but doesn't really give any distinction.
