Im chopping a 73 right now. Already did the hardtail conversion. Then I found an awsome denvers rigid front end. Solid tube forks! 6 over stock so I raked the neck out to 55 degrees. Found a 21 inch front wheel . no front brake. Gonna run a disk on the rear. Mustang tank. havent touched the motor yet. Thats this summers project. Im in Phx Az . We build in the summer and ride all winter LOL!
Hey thanks, I've been trying to get back into uploading and got the itch with this bike. Should hopefully be firing it up in the next video, really appreciate you watching!
Oneten Kohut It all depends on how bad it is, I use Nevr-dull, aluminium wheel polish, steel wool. I don't have any real secrets just the norm, thanks for watching!
I've been having a little trouble with my idle, wonder if it may be the intake gaskets. Saw several parts in your store I could use, wish that Mustang seat on bottom of first page was cheaper. Looks comfy for long rides.
Wooley689 Good possibility, they don't last to long and dry up or crack then start leaking. Might try snugglin up the clamps or if its been awhile never hurts to replace. I've got both o-ring or band style listed in my eBay store in the description.
I think better to replace as I've had the bike a log time and never changed them, doubt if previous owner had either. I'll go back and thumb through your pages to where I saw them.
Can you point me in the right direction of a simple wiring diagram for 70 sportster 900 kick only, I picked it up last weekend it's a rigid frame, I'm gonna be running is headlight and a tail light
I get parts everywhere....classifieds, swap meets, word of mouth, business's going out. Everybody knows a guy that knows a guy that's got an old bike stashed away. The hunts part of the fun and I really enjoy it, thanks for watching!
thanks I can check it out just the one on your bike looked longer thanks. I have been looking on ebay at your parts and found some things I can use. my bike ua-cam.com/video/dKLB48tbzIw/v-deo.html
Gary Allen Just checked out your bike and looks nice 👍I got the measurement off my 79, that wasn't the overall length just length from top mount to first bend on foot. Thanks for checking out the ebay store and hope to do business!

Always do things backwards. Now I've seen the before, after the after. Take care.
79 isnt a great year though. Good luck finding parts for that year sporty.
Would you happen to have a right side brake pedal for a 79 xlch? Looked thru ur eBay but didn’t see anything just figured I would ask
I just double checked and unfortunately I do not have any right now. I appreciate you asking and thanks for watching!
Can you tell me how long the kickstand is. I have a 79 that I just got and when you use the kickstand it almost falls over.
Gary Allen Mines about 10.5" from mounting end to the first bend of the foot. May be bent or worn at the bolt and bushing where it mounts.
