I don't understand why those abuse allegations against the father are considered now ,35 years later. But it is never too late for justice to say 'real' or to say 'false'.

Heard at 1st trial [very detailed/horrific/on video; Mom refused to intervene they said]: jury hung. State forbid it ALL at 2nd trial: jury convicted. That's scary on its own! 3rd party corroboration [by guys in another country/never in contact/unrelated] about Jose's activity w/young boys: kills notion they 'made it up'. See/hear them sob heinous details nobody could dream or deliver like Oscar level actors: pretty credible. Totaled up the charge/sentence seem like a miscarriage of justice..
Like TOO many cases of past eras that violated rights, cherry picked facts, good ol boy systems.. The # of overcharged, over sentenced, wrongly charged or convicted & even wrongly executed needs to bother every1 yet so few give a hoot; it's 'not them'. Guess tune would change if it WAS them/their family?! You're so right it's never too late! It's sad & scary how most prefer to play judge, wash their hands, look away & ignore it..

To this day, the family of the Menendez Brothers, all of whom are also their parents' family, advocate for their freedom.

There are allegations of abuse that the father did, but they also targeted their mother. However, I have not heard of any allegations of abuse done by her.
She knew what was going on and did nothing. If that's not abuse, I don't know what is. It's something akin to watching a stranger beat your child while you stand back and do nothing. Doing nothing is complicity, both legally and morally.

The cases that need to be reviewed are thise whom are serving WHEN completely innocent. Example: The Native American whom served over 40+ years. Please, it may be from another State, however HE needs to be set free. He's ill & should be able to have whatever time he has left in Freedom. Sexual abuse doesn't excuse cold-blooded murder. There is no proof whatsoever, they're weightless allegations that should in no way impact the standing punishment.
There’s was actually a decent amount of proof of the sexual abuse corroborated by witness testimony AND a bunch of evidence regarding the neglect they faced at the hands of their parents also corroborated by witness testimony. What are you talking about??

well, that's about as uneducated as it gets. first up, we know that ongoing Sexual abuse for minors has an incredible impact on their behaviour and growth into adulthood. When you look at some of the worst serial killers, many have had serious abuse as children, and for the past 35 years, there has been far more research and more understanding of the impacts of sexual abuse on children, I are a Doctor in Paediatrics unfortunately we see the sad outcomes from those abused.

It’s definitely not, the show makes many false implications. This was being looked at before the release of the show. There was a documentary where one of the Menudo band members said the brothers dad SA’d him.

They were adults, and they killed their parents. They should've left their parents' home and not continued to live off of their parents. They should've pressed charges then if they were actually sexually molestated by their father. If they hadn't killed their mom also, I would possibly entertain this story. Leave them in prison for life because they murdered two people.

The 'system' then throwing me & keys to my life away.. after violating every right 'guaranteed' to me & smashing all ethical standards all to 'win' my demise?!

@@JohnDoe-pk2hs well said! And one more thing if they killed their parents for "inheritance" why then all of a sudden after 5/6 months Erik went to see Dr. Oziel and confessed that they did it? If they were really after the inheritance, lavish lifestyles and whatnot they wouldn't have done it.
@@humairahossain8231the boys’ aunt on trial literally said the boys were convinced they were already out of the will when they were told they had gotten the inheritance. Erik literally broke down sobbing and said that something was wrong and they needed to check it again. I don’t think they killed for money. The best case the prosecution would’ve had would’ve been that they killed for revenge but the greed accusations just don’t hold up bc there’s not much evidence for it in my opinion.
100% guilty please investigate this case. and interview, immediate families and uncles cousins nieces nephews regarding the parents. I can’t believe the parents actually did all this unbelievable.

Most of the family members gave testimonies in the previous trial of the alleged SA. There is evidence as well of a letter written by one of the brothers to his cousin regarding SA months before the murder. So i don't think they are making up a story of SA.
How could they serve a life sentence? Does L.A not have a death penalty? How are they still alive?

Who can stand up to defend Jose Menendez??? That’s the question. Easy to make allegations and accusations but with no one there to tell the other side of the story it’s hard to say. These sons could have left home any time… Looks more like they wanted their parents’ lives. Bottom line: 2 wrongs don’t make a right. Letting mentally disturbed murders free in society is not the best idea. The circumstances growing up may have caused the insanity- unfortunately nothing says it’s been cured. Cold calculated murder was committed here.

He was described as a bully by his coworkers and by one of the boy’s tennis coaches was described on the stand as “one of the cruelest ppl he had ever met”. The woman admitted to her therapist that she would purposefully leave suicide letters around the house for Erik to find. Is that not fucked up??
