Egy pár óra, de egyszerű, ha követed a receptet és nagyon megéri, mert tényleg finom! 😊

Thank you Viki! I'm very glad I somehow came across this in my Facebook Feed, and that I clicked on your video. I posted a link to my page for later reference for myself and of course to share with my friends, some of whom are "Hungarian". I won't get a chance to try and make this for this Easter, but will try and make sometime later on in the year - because as you said, you're not just limited to making this at Easter time.
I subscribed to your channel, and look forward to more videos from you. Appreciate the recipe ingredients in measurements we can use without any struggle trying to convert from using an original Hungarian recipe, which can be very tricky, when one can understand and read only limited Hungarian. Looking forward to seeing what else you put out. Happy Easter to you and yours!

I imagined kalács as referring to the shape i.e. sweet bun, yet you seem to suggest with this recipe that kalàcs is the dough and can be shaped into any number of forms

Kalács is the type of dough indeed, but it’s also the finished product. There are different types of braided or non-braided ‘kalács’ you could make from the ‘kalács’ dough.
