I think of you every time another package of art supplies arrives at my door. As I have no artist friends locally to share my hauls with, it’s nice to be able to connect with people on here. Today was a set of Koh-i-noor pastel pencils. And they’re lovely.

LOVE all of your videos!!! I sent you the Denik sketchbook in this video. Glad to see you will use it. I've never had any with creased pages before. They are great for playing around and not being worried about being "precious". Can't wait to see next weeks adventure!!!

You're definitely someone who lives for the moment and doesn't sweat the things that have already been done and can't be changed. Very inspiring. Especially your comments previously about not being afraid of the sketchbook and just break it in.

Because you just jump into things and do not seem too fussy you give people the confidence to have a go at painting. And this I find great. A lot of the utube videos are about painters just copying photographs. You are good with colour.

I recommend paying for one you like straight away rather than spending too much time browsing and adding to your cart otherwise you’ll find some will have sold by the time you check out.

Another fun video! I like sketching in charcoal too. It is very freeing. I really enjoy seeing how your landscape in ink process progresses. When you mentioned the pumice-y gesso, it made me wonder whether a thin coat of watercolor ground on slickish paper would work well. That should help keep it matte but with a bit more absorbency. Gotta check it out! Thanks again for the inspiration. Have a great weekend. :)

Love the final peace Sandy so pretty love seeing your process. love drawing with charcoal but always make such a smash so smudgy do you put fixative between yours on the sketchbook. I am so looking forward to the workshop my painting is so tight right now. I had my one year old niece over to paint with me it was so much fun she is a process artist. Saw a picture of her this week dipping her brush into the dog's waterbowl thinking she was painting.

Finally pushed over the edge to buy acrylic inks! But I’ve been wanting to ask a question about your Moleskine sketchbook, and since now I know you’ve purchased at least two, it seems like a good time. I know the one you’ve shown in the past has cream paper, and you said in this video that you like cream paper. But when I go to Blick to look at the one you have, it looks white in the photo, and the reviews suggest that the company is not consistent with the paper color. That’s held me back from buying it, because I also really like how the cream paper looks. Was your newer one also cream? Thanks!

Question for other subscribers: why do we constantly see you guys give these bigger channels free stuff or things you created? These are established channels that make a decent living. Why don't y'all find the smaller channels that would REALLY appreciate and need a leg up, why don't y'all help them out? Send them the free sketchbooks paints brushes pens and $ . I see ppl send channels with MILLIONS of subs $$, money the subs don't really have to give to begin with, and these creators TAKE IT! eye roll and ps: you prob won't see these sketchbooks again in another video. Just saying. Oh that was a really nice sketchbook by the way, let us know if she ever purchases any from you........
