"Kes" is the early film by Ken Loach in 1969. He depicted the typical small coal mining town in England where people's life was tough physically and emotionally. It is almost like a Charles Dickens story in 1800. But this story took place probably in 1950 or 1960. Although it was abusing environments for kids, they didn't have any other choices but adopt the life then. However, one boy established the relationship with a kestrel. That was a focus of life affirming story of "Kes".
