He was commission after independence. I was in the Kenya Army when CGS was Mulinge .When he retired Mahmoud became a General. Do you really know about military? All those officers I mentioned started as privates and the rised in ranks from lance corporal to warrant officers to commission officers.
Cadets use to be high school with a first or second division in certificate of secondary education.The training used to take 1 year. That was before the introduction of this new rule.
