    Have a basic plan, prepare for the worst, and think your way to a desired compromise, then attack from all sides. Victory will be had.

    Jay, yet again great job and you are better at this than you think...I've seen alot of bad welding and fab work on old cars and would gladly hand money over for that job no problem 💰💰💰

    Mate all i can say is FairPlay, i wouldn’t know were to start , you can see why bodyshops etc charge so much ain’t it

      Thanks Richard. Yeah man to be honest that small panel was so much work it’s crazy. Then I have all inside the engine bay to finish off nice and paint etc.

      You’ve done a decent job, having done a lot of metal work, try breaking it down into sections, make each part and weld them together, it can work out easier, there’s a guy in Cannock name dave, chevette man lol would offer advice and parts availability

      @JaysFabShop my first ever car was a 1976 Vauxhall Chevette, is that what car it is ? It looks very familiar.

      @markb1402 yes mate it’s exactly that. 1983 Vauxhall chevette special. I have a couple of video on it before this one showing the hole car etc

      Looking good mate well done you definitely worked hard making that I don’t think many people would try nowadays to make something like that and like you say the wing hides it 👍
