  • Get the perfect low fade undercut with a beard in this step-by-step tutorial by MC Barber. From using the Oster clippers with a 1 1/2 metal guard to the Wahl clippers with a 1/2 plastic guard, learn how to fade like a pro. MC will also show you how to create a hard line and shape up with Andis trimmers, as well as a straight razor technique to sharpen the shape up. Plus, see a blow dry/style that will finish off this stylish look. Don't miss out on this makeover tutorial! Enjoy!
-0:38 After parting the hair, MC starts with a 1 1/2 metal guard on Oster clippers.
-2:46 He uses an Outliner (.1 mm) metal guard on Oster clippers.
-3:54 Switching to Wahl clippers, he uses a 1 plastic guard to begin the fade.
-5:20 Fading down to avoid removing unwanted hair, MC uses a 1/2 plastic guard on Wahl clippers.
-5:47 He uses an open blade on Wahl clippers, adjusting the lever when necessary.
-9:34 Using Andis trimmers, MC creates a hard line and a shape up.
-10:25 Still using Andis trimmers, he shapes up the beard.
-11:40 To sharpen the shape up, MC uses a straight razor.
-12:37 Moving to the top of the head, MC uses a straight razor to remove length while removing bulk and creating texture.
-15:20 Using scissors, MC cross checks his work.
-16:03 To further blend the top into the sides and back, MC uses scissors over comb.
-18:07 Watch a thumb control technique.
    -18:45 Watch a blow dry/style.
    Enjoy!!

I am a newly graduate cosmetologist and love watching your videos. The way you teach and explain things are pretty easy to understand. Thank you for being so humble and even though you are a champion, you do not keep your knowledge to yourself, you share what you know with others and I thank you for that. You are amazing, am your #1fan 😁

I showed my sister your channel the other day. She said, " Why does this fascinate you so much? You're not even a hair stylist." I said, "Because it's always fascinating to watch anyone who's superb at what they do and has a real passion for it."

Hi Mr. MC , please don't put music in your video , I like the sound of your clippers and the sound of your barber shop , i think is more easy to focus just by hearing your talking and hearing your tools working and Sir , this is just my own opinion you don't have to listen to me because not only me here , there are other peoples watched your video too but of course I still love your video no matter what , I've been here seen 7k sub and I watch all your video , you're inspired me alot and I wanna say Thank to you Sir , you're the best .

Hairstyle was good choice for this person. The only thing i'll point out is you should probably use some type of heat protectant for the hair before you blowdry. Otherwise, nice job!

MC Barber sorry maybe I didn't make myself clear. I meant the beard neckline, I see people do this often cutting the line to high.
I personally like cutting it 2 fingers from the adam's apple.
      Anyway good cut👍

love the cut, but i think you cut beards a little to high on the jaw and below the neck. Pause at 11:04 , Look at the side profile, Cutting up that high just makes his face look chubbier and silly. This is actually a common mistake lots of people make

    • @bryanujueta7032
      @bryanujueta7032 6 років тому

I'm Tyler :3 sharp beards at the jaw look sleazy to me. A smooth taper at the neck looks more natural and grows in well. That high contrast 2tone beard to 5oclock shadow as it grows in ruins the look. Your beard trim ends up lasting two days

..this cut is unprecise especially on the top of his head and upper sides........ofocurse if you blow dry anyhaircut into postion it will look good.....!!..the connections are not well done or well blended....in the eyes of the unprofessional..everything looks good.

why bother with all the razoring if you're then going to scissor over comb and blunt cut the ends over the top. then you use the clippers on the sides again. looks like your making it up as you go along waste of your time
