The key to creating "dynamics" is found in the skillful and artfull use of "Variables". Remenber that. Anything that you can do with your guitar that could be construed as some sort of a "variable" can be used effectively for dynamic effect. For example; volume, tone, scale, chord... anything you can think of. Think of more for yourself... it never ends.
@CKS5000 Lipstick pickups are those in a Danelectro guitar - they are cylindrical and chrome (or nickel) cast. What you see here is just a regular Tele neck pickup, in fact not much different from the bridge pickup, but it's smaller and has a chrome (or nickel) cast brass cover, like a Gibson humbucker.
@Magiffin if your talking about the neck pup it's called a lipstick(slang) pick-up, i think all those blues boy's guitar's have them unless they are custom.
@alvicious Well, it reminded me to think of the hawkings-particle and that is pretty cool to think about :) The particle, that is. The guy's brilliant! But i must say, i can hear hawking's voice talking about space and the words sustain like luther's words.

Is there any website where Wyatt is teaching? I want so bad to get lessons from him but going to Musicians Institute is an impossible stretch for me :'(
I think Guthrie Govan is the best at this technique.. as well as all the other ones. But I think his dynamics is what really makes his playing soulful. Go watch his video playing with vintage instruments (Faux Vintage maybe?). Anyway, just incredible.
Keith alway's has the best lesson's.
