Oh my god. I have the steel case physical copy here right beside me. I heard about this game in a magazine before it released back in the day. I love this game. My favorite scenes I keep going back to is that train scene. My favorite part of the game. I remember my nephew came in my room saw me playing it on my 65"4K TV and he would always say play that whole mission over. Very fun thriller. Very excited to enjoy this with you.🎉

The game is fantastic
The controls for Aiden are really weird. They must have changed them for the PC version. I play with a controller but there's none of that weird point to point on rails movement. It looks like how you move around in Google Street View. Hah. Is there an option in the controls to make Aiden camera free movement?

I tried to make it work, and so far no luck. I will maybe play it later on as a YT exclusive game (not live streaming on twitch and then editing it)

Yessssss! I hope you play this game fully all the way through! It's one of my favorite quantic dream games. Get ready for a crazy ride. :) I hope you'll love it as much as I did. I can't say anything about the characters until I know you've finished, but enjoy the ride!
This is not story related, but if you're willing to get comfortable with the controls: i'd recommend turning off the snap-to controls for Aiden. It may be harder since you'll have to guess what to interact with, but you'll be able to explore more. Whichever you use is fine, I just prefer freely controlling where I got to look. You can try swapping between both control methods if you like. With snap controls off: you'll be able to fly around much more and examine the environment. But, as I said previously: the objective areas won't be obvious, so you might get lost. You can try both and see which you like the best.
I hardly ever abandon a playthrough. I'd say I have a completion rate of 95%. I had to put Elden Ring on halt due to an injury, it will be continued :)
So no worries, most of the games I start here are finished.

Such a good game the choices you make during the game will determine the story line changes

Nice start... reminds me of my playthrough. Actually remembering how fun the story is - but also how frustrating the Aiden controls can be (especially the shifting perspectives). Hope you enjoy the ride - and thankfully not quite as dark as Heavy Rain (IMO)
Underrated game. As people have mentioned the controls can be a bit finicky (I think there was a bug where if you used a mouse and keyboard some of the quicktime events was almost impossible), but I think most have been fixed.

@@LIZZgame Yeah, but these Quantic Dreams games twist your fingers up in knots! There's no point taking care of your arm if doing so twists your fingers into unuseable tangles!!!
Seriously though. Take care of yourself and rest that arm at least as long as the doctors tell you to. You know we will watch you play whatever you choose to play. It might be a bit of a downer not being able to play Elden Ring for a while but it will still be there when you're ready. And your audience isn't going anywhere. Take it from an old geezer, a little problem like that might seem to you now, can come back with a vengeance later in life when not treated properly. Do as the doctors tell you and you'll be strong forever 💪

The PS3 starts you from the beginning,but on the updated one you start from a different spot. I also have the updated one that I hope you enjoy it and kick some butt. 👊👍

This is an amazing game ! But what's up with the weird cuts at around half hour mark ? (around 36 to be precise) threw me off so bad lol

Wow. You're rushing through the Quantic Dreams series :) It's very retro by now but you might enjoy Fahrenheit as well. Starts with the main character peeing. 10/10 game
Not rushing, I take my time and enjoy them! I got Fahrenheit, but I couldn't get it to work yet. We'll see!
Good game have it platinum on PlayStation 4. And dont want to back seat drive but try and not to overthink just do it.
not overthinking in a choice based game is basically impossible. At least for me haha

What’s up with all the jump cut edits during the party/dancing scene? 36:00 are you cutting out chat interactions? Not gonna lie I kinda loved when you left the chat interactions and all that in the video even though your editing is usually quite good.
We minimized the playtime of copyrighted songs to avoid strikes.

I commented before finished your whole video... lol. The remake has an option to "play in chronical order" (from young to later), imo opinion this goes against the game's design. If you remember Jodie's dialog in the beginning: her life is in a gumbled mess that she's trying to make sense of - hence the jumping around chapters from young, to teen, back to a kid again, and back and forth. It's how SHE is remembering her life "a gumbled mess of events" so to speak.

It would be like playing Pulp Fiction in chronological order and saying it's superior. So I agree. The original version is the proper one. And I would say it's the director's cut.

sadly not, nope. Poor PS port I guess.
Word of warning. If you want to have a romantic scene with someone, there is a section you NEED to fail. If you'd like to know what one, I can say without spoiling more than the premise of the section.
