Thanks for this one, Kyle 👍 BTW, I think what I enjoy most about your vlogs (aside from the film clips, obviously!) is the easy-going style of your running commentary on your decisions.)Keep up the quality content!
44 is a ambitious hand to bluff with. If there are any calling stations at the table it's best to abort. I would rather bluff with two overs as there would be a bigger chance of catching a piece than hoping for a 2 outer or backdoor outs. But once again, knowing your opponents tendencies is fairly important when trying to bluff.
On the 44 bluff, doing the full analysis is one thing, the number of times it works or not heavily depends on the player you are facing with. In this instance, if the opponent is a good thinking and relatively tight player then it might have worked. If the guy is loose or sticky it wouldn’t. And if you’ve never played with this player before then all bets are off. You have to assume the worst that he’s likely on the sticky side.
Once again you mad man with your output recently 🤪..absolutely loving it. I would appreciate if you could give me a reply to this hand I just played...I've been card dead and played a j3 of d and raised to $25 just expecting honesty to steal the pot...I got 2 player's calling. Flop 33j I thought Damn, should be playing more crazy hands more often 😅. This is were I think I went wrong, instead of checking I raised $65 ..and got called by both player's..background both player's have been playing lose and been drinking. The turn card was a 7s..so I raised $155 ..and got called again, I'm stumped. River card 6c. What would you have done, appreciate your answer cheers Rob 🍻
44 hand, when he calls on turn he will almost always have a big pocket pair. "Most" hands are defined on turn and you should be able to greatly narrow your opponents range. Players will make continuation bets then check turn with vulnerable pairs or A/K high, check a lot of draws, value bet completed draws or protect value hands versus potential draws that come in on turn, etc... Villain is never folding a big pair on that board after calling turn with any Broadway pairs. Notice how quickly he called?? I would have too. If you have a very unlikely fullhouse, then you get my money. My opinion is you should have narrowed him down to big pairs and given up on river.
Low pocket pairs are very overrated, yet many players play them like mid to high pairs. Also, AK unsuited is merely a draw. Very rarely does A high win a hand.
Nothing makes these guys in cash games fold kings other than an Ace on the board. Sometimes not even then. I only set mine with 2s/3s/4s. Any raise that doesn't give me like 10-1 post flop and I am out of there.
Kyle putting out a bunch of videos. “Cheers to that guy”

"Florida Man says trust him, it's not a bad as it looks" could be used every day for a variety of situations. Good thing you're credible

Variance goes both ways.
There’s always next session.
On the dbl bomb pot, Kd on the top bot is perfect for your hand , just unfortunately the outcome
