I purchased a Sunday Primer maybe two years ago wanting a nice bmx complete; only to invest into a new custom build worth maybe triple the price later. The primer is great but the forks bent quickly for myself and the wheels were easily falling apart on me. I was replacing parts quicker than I should have. I just wish I had Dougsterbobs' review then!
Damn sorry to hear this Alan! I'm glad i'm able to kinda help steer people in the right direction now because this kink of thing usually gives people a sour taste in BMX. What kind of custom did you go with??
@@Dougsterbob hey Doug! Its all good man, I still take care of the primer though with the hope my nephews love bmx someday and they can enjoy the aftermarket parts later lol. I ended up purchasing a Subrosa wild child frame and every part after that is aftermarket shadow and oddessey parts :) thanks for the reply man!
Hey guys! the full 2021 Sunday Video is filmed and almost edited. It will be out soon. For now, enjoy the Primer Review! I rambled for about two minutes so click here if you want to skip to the review... 2:35. Also, shop my merch here: dougsterbob.com/dougsterbob-merch/
Honestly, they are both pretty similar. If you are tall and need a 21" toptube get the Gap XL and if you want a freecoaster, get a gap FC. Otherwise you could jsut pick which one you like based on the color.
I was wondering why I couldn't find a black 21" Primer after searching for 2 hours... Now I know the answer lol. Really like your reviews though man, subbed!
Hello I’m wondering if a primer park 20.5 inch would be good for me I’m pretty decent at riding I’m 5’4 or do you have any better suggestions? Please answer
For your size, the 20.5 will be ok! But if you're doing any mid-level tricks, the primer is too low quality for you. It's a good bike for someone who is just starting out. If you are doing things like 360, 180 down stairs, big drops and even trying whips you'll want a higher waulity bike like the forecaster or the sunday ex
@@Dougsterbob thanks sooo much for the information I’ve been watching tons of your videos and I just ordered a Sunday forecaster park today right now I have a 18 inch I think the 20.5 will be perfect because I can still grow into it 😃
@@Dougsterbobthx for the help i think your very good youtuber and you help a lot for the sport i dont know the primer is a good bike for me im 5,4 and i can do bunny hop , fakie and 90es

I didnt even knew that with the different sizes i just Looked for the colour ! 😱😂 im 1,60 m and want to have the pink one, would it fit me ???✌🏻🥲
It should, it's a really nice color btw
Would the kink gap be better or would the primer be better) I would ride way more streets and probably a little park. I’ve never really read in before

@@Dougsterbob ah thanks
Thanks man, I started riding about a month and a half ago, I ride my brothers old 2014 Subrosa. I’m probably gonna pick this up on my birthday. 👍

hahaha oh no man thats rough! Glad I helped a little hahah Thansk for the sub 🙏
hey would you reccomend this to a 6'3" 205lb guy with an obsession with transition?
I’m 6 foot and got the park primer and I find it awesome but I only do flatland, put 4 pegs and I’m really satisfied
Does it have double wall rims? Can't find that info anywhere
No, the rims are single wall aluminum.
It makes no since that this guy doesn’t have more subs
One day we will get there 👀👀

The sunday prime park just only use for park?
Basically yes. If you want to ride street dirt and park, do the primer. If you want to mostly ride park, do the primer park.
