Chris paid his dues to be here today singing those songs inside him all his life and finally he has an audience, worldwide. What a journey. We all go on but, most of us never get that audience we desire to tell our story. We go off in to the Sunset never to be thought about again. Chris will be remembered for decades to come. He's got more to offer us too. Bless you brother, jh, US Army Veteran, screenwriter (story about an Orphan in Maine. Life. Struggles. Hope. faith)
I wish Chris could clone himself 4 times, so he could sing with The Steeldrivers, The Jompson Brothers, Justin Timberlake and his own band, ALL AT THE SAME TIME !! What a world of music we would have !!!!
I got to emcee for the Steeldrivers with Chris Stapleton 2 or 3 times at the MACC shows. It was like working a Rock show. So much fun. Great memories. The Steeldrivers are still going strong and filling venues.
Chris is so extraordinary no matter which genre he sings and plays in . Loved him with the Steeldrivers but man this man can just plain sing ,just opens his mouth and out comes magic.
I fell in love with his singing the first time I heard his voice!! ❤❤❤ ps: & I'd never known about The SteelDrivers or Jompson Brothers til Iheard the songs on Pandora. I thought, "How haven't I heard these before?!" I love him to pieces!! 😻
March 2020 and yet here I am.....what can I say....the best always brings you back. Out of all Stapleton's albums, his time with the Steeldrivers is still my favorite.
I grew up on country music. So this breaks my heart to say this. But country music isn't what it used to be. Not in a good way either. But thank GOD for the Chris Stapleton's and Jamie Johnsons and Craig Morgan and Jamie Johnson's and Trace Atkins of country music. I never heard of The Steeĺdrivers until today ( I'm sad to say). The only Reason I heard about them today is because I was watching a UA-cam video of Nikki Tutorials and she was doing the makeup of Adele. I mean ADELE and she was asked a question about who she would like to do music with and she said she already did it and it was Chris Stapleton and I was shocked that Nikki didn't know who Chris Stapleton was 🤯 But ADELE was talking about how Chris is on her new album 30. Anyways ADELE said she's been following Chris Stapleton for like 12 or 13 years and that Chris was in a band called the Steeldrivers and well she mentioned this song here and how it's so good but also about how he talks about killing his wife and a play on words and how funny it was. So here I am . But Thank you Adele. This is AWESOME SAUCE . Hope I didn't offend anyone with my comment. I love Chris Stapleton 💙
I thought I was going nuts, or there were two Stapletons out there, and finally googled to end the question. Because it sounded like some Stapleton in some of these dude's shit sometimes, and yeah. Should have googled sooner. But, it was kinda fun to not. And just assumed there was another one out there roaming.
Chris Stapleton has one of the most extraordinary effortless voices of all time

Recently discovered Steeldrivers after I started listening to Chris Stapleton. This bluegrass band is TIGHT...I love it!!
Tammy’s fiddle just screams the saddest sounds on this. Damn. 🎻

Leave Justin Timberlake alone!
I totally agree !!!! 100 💯
Also played with whiskey Meyer
Johnson Brothers was some solid rock and hope they do something new

Another great Bluegrass love song.
Any Rogers is a genius in her own right. Love to hear her play!
THIS is country music. Bluegrass monsters
Makes you want to swear, chew, drink and love, that's living music.
Sure is...#FORTCOLLINS #COLORADO ☘☘☘

Me too. As good as Chris is going solo, I'd give about anything to get him back with the Steeldrivers. They were unreal!
Hard to believe this is more than ten years old. Fresh as a daisy and we still love them all to bits! Thanks for posting!
The whole band rocked it
OOH That fiddle playing is so AWESOME!!!! LOVE THIS
Man I’d pay good money to see them perform this in person
Love this song and loved it when Chris was with The SteelDrivers. They have such a great sound.
That fiddle player and high harmony singer is 🔥
Chris Stapleton is the absolute BEST!!
Agreed!
See dude in concert. OMG
What a great song,It's on my play list.
Ohhhh mercy that fiddle!

Hell yeah...outstanding...amazing performance...can't get enough of this music like this will never die to me..
Ich bin froh, dass ich es getan habe.
this man's voice is incredible ...wowwww
I am not even American but I love this music 🎶
I would love to hear this music while camping and have an old fashioned hay dance some time
Outstanding vocal performance by the team! 👍
Chris live is something amazing. First heard him on a “tiny desk” concert/ npr. Blown away
This is so bad ass, love it!
She plays a fiddle 🎻 like a good team of mules pulling a wagon through the mud!!
a great voice and a great great hat .
Omg they killed this!!!
Adele brought me here. I love this song!
Que bárbaros!!! Geniales, Violín, Banjo, todo es una sinfonía perfecta.
Id gladly treat these fine men and women to a crawfish dinner
One of the best songs I love for ever.
Your views are about to go up cause I'm gonna wear this one out.
Love this band and heaven sent is my favourite song I sing it everyday
Absolutely brilliant!
Love it! Never get tired of hearing this song and this terrific band.
I'm convinced Tammy sold her soul to learn to play the fiddle like that...
That solo...
Or she beat him in a competition somewhere down in Georgia...
In her hands, that fiddle doesn't stand a chance! She's the total master (mistress?) of that instrument.
Greyfox right around the corner!!
I think Tammy Rogers needs her own mic before she takes out Chris' eye.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I had that it says with Chris Stapleton, he was a band member until 2010.
THANK YOU, so much, Less than Face productions
Love this!!!
Love this
One HELL of a fucking song
So determined to see them live!
I saw Greensky Bluegrass cover this tune at Northwest String Summit this past year, best set of music I've seen in my life!
Excellent!!! :)
🖤🖤 My fave!!
Tammy Rodgers...yep.
Mighty Fine !!!
Ok, is it just me or does that woman rule the earth? Is she married? Wait...nevermind, I am. But goodness.
You can Look the menu but ya gotta eat at home...lol!

Amazing !!
In my backyard and I didn't know. I feel like puking. Literally
better then Adele's version any day of the week = AMERICAN bluegrass at its FINEST!!!
Tammy has 2 cds on the Dead Reckoning label.
💕
I always love that bluegrass band SteelDrivers 15 years ago. But Chris Stapleton was too unique to not be on the front of the stage.
Str8 fire

the bets song
So what'd he do for the girl
Can this version (or one with just Chris Stapleton) be purchased anywhere online?
John Tobias If it hadn’t been for love by the steeldrivers.
@@scottmansouri4151 I prefer this acoustical version by Chris alone, but Thanks.
Great song - but shooting someone isn't exactly "love," is it? But great music & fiddle. Wow.
zzzzzz🎃😉👌👌
Sucks
Bob Brown sings this better
