This is my new favorite version of this song. They all killed it but Matt and Kirstie slayed it. I get goosebumps from Kirstie and Matt just reaches out to my soul and touches it.
I went back and followed Kevin's percussion from the beginning to the end of this video. His impact was OVERWHELMING. It was what made my heart stop and start throughout. The others came in and out in their own parts, but his part was vital from start to finish.
Everything they've released lately has shown their growth as a group. This is my favorite version of this song. Matt and Kirstie were the highlights for me even though everyone was incredible.
Merry Christmas down under! I knew when Matt started his solo, you would really enjoy it. When I saw you had reacted to this and Pure Imagination etc, I got a huge smile on my face. Thank you for reacting to these and making my day.
Thank you for the great reaction to this beautiful Pentatonix video. They took my favorite Christmas song and made a Pentatonix masterpiece. They are incredible.
The entire performance-the soaring solos, intricate backing vocals, beatboxing, the visuals-was beyond perfect (perfect-er?). Love-love-love your Matt appreciation! Thank you for your festive gear and awesome reaction!😍
I just finished watching the live stream of their current Christmas tour which they filmed in Orlando. People are sleeping on Matt. His bass was POWERFUL, not to mention he played a full drum kit during a performance with Kevin (amazing), camped it up for You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch, led a conga-line like performance of the band through the audience, and was just incredible overall. Have be honest and say that I’m sick of hearing people still comparing him to Avi, saying ‘I love Matt, but…’. Just shut it already. I am also blown away by Kirstie lately as well. Her concert performance was (not to wear out a word) incredible. She and Scott did a duet where they mashed up Go the Distance from Hercules, and Defying Gravity from Wicked. PG you’ll get this reference, but holy mother-forking shirt-balls. Amazing!
I only subscribed to you last year after I watched your reaction to Craig Morgan's " The Father, My Son, And the Holy Ghost". Then your reaction to Brad Paisley's " Didn't have to Be"., and found out you were a stepdad. I hope you are still doing wonderfully, and I wish you much peace, love, joy and success in the new year. Be good, Mate.
There’s a Harry Chapin song “Mr. Tanner,” that has someone singing ‘O Holy Night’ during the chorus. I am incredibly particular about which versions I will listen to because of that. Matt would be the only person I would let sub in for (Sir) Big John Wallace.

I agree!
Matt has really stepped up and come into his own.
We are witnessing a Mattamorphosis!
A Mattamorphosis is under way! What a performance by PTX! Epic, Grammy-worthy!

Matt is so good in this song! Of course all of them are always fantastic!

Matt's part is my favorite in this too, so GOOD
The end of the song when Kirsty took me somewhere I'd never been, Scott gently brought me down to earth. WOW

The whole group excelled, but WOW, Matt, WOW!
Loved your reaction. I totally agree about Matt. They’re growing and maturing so much. You have to watch Kiss from a Rose. Very recent. Very awesome.
Matt's father is a Pastor, so Matt literally grew up singing in the church.
Matt took us to church! Loved it!

It's just wonderful...masterful...isn't it? So stunning. And Matt!!!
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Lyle!
I'm not religious so this has never been my favorite song. But I heard it once and ran out to buy the CD. Wow wow wow!
Their arrangements are perfection.
So very epic but warm!
Thank you sooooo much my friend fire❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

You also need to do Kirstie and Kevin’s new song, Please Santa Please.
It’s stunning!! Thanks for the reaction!! Merry Christmas!!
Lyle, you better get some rest. You have a busy night coming up in a couple of days, delivering presents!😅
Lol.
Would love to see you react to some Orbit Culture. North Star of Nija and While We Serve are great songs from them.
i guess if the Magi can show up in robes .. Mitch can have one too ..
Do give VoicePlay's early cover of O Holy Night(ft. Rachel Potter) a listen You'll enjoy it, too - Merry Christmas!
