Nathan Cavaleri - live in San Francisco (1992)

It's a very,very rare footage: The 10 years old Australian Blues guitar virtuoso Nathan Cavaleri performs at the" Guitar Player Magazine 25th Anniversary Celebration" on September 19th 1992, at Warfield Theatre San Francisco. His performance was a sensation and he received the only standing ovation for the evening. Nathan played two tunes, but unfortunately, in the second one, a technical failure of the equipment destroyed his solo part. But even in this awful situation, Nathan acted like a professional.

This may be the most furious Blues guitar solo of a 10 years old child of all time!
Between the age of 10 and 12, Nathan Cavaleri released two professional albums : "Jammin' with the Cats" and "nathan" . A 'must have' for every Blues and Jazz enthusiast !! Visit the Discography video !
He was not one of these usual shredders,he always played with feeling,taste and restraint. Nathan Cavaleri mastered the Blues techniques like bending and vibrato, and mixed minor and major pentatonic scales like a professional, so that he was able to play even Jazz tunes. Robben Ford and Stevie Ray Vaughan had a great influence on him.
Nathan acquired most of his skills on the guitar during his painful years as a Leukaemia patient. Please, look at the "talking about Leukaemia " video.
