You will note that sometimes I say one of 67 and one of 68. There is some confusion on the dup;icate assignment of an early chassis, number 20 I believe. It's been cleared up by so,e direct sources as false, bringing the true total of the car to 67 produced. More than a dozen are still unaccounted for. See the companion article to this video in the Volvo Club of America "Rolling" Magazine July/August 2022.

What a great way to spend a nice time with other crazy Volvo owners. To be trusted with one of the rarest Voolvos in existence is a great honor. Now let's get that top off and proper repair done to it. The 28mpg is very good considering the rpm you had to run to keep up with the Car. A traffic. Well done David.

I know I’m making it up in my head but Volvos all have that sound the same, the doors, the starters, the engines.
    Gosh I love Volvo’s.

Great to see the P1900! Only seen one in Gothenburg last summer in the Volvo museum. And the meeting was great to see as well. Our weddingcar was a P1800. Owning a p1800 ES is still a dream. Until then I will enjoy my 945 turbo. Subscribed and hope to see more great videos. Tnx and greetings from the Netherlands.

    Dear David Bello
👍👌👏👏👏 Nice, nice, nice! That's a really great video. What impressive landscapes and pictures, WOW! Very well done, Sir, very well indeed! Congrats! I had tons of compassion with you seeing you trying to sort out your long legs in this relatively small driving compartment. Hope your back wasn't hurting too much after this journey. I would have loved to see Mr. Hunt in Davis. But unfortunately he was even unfit to fly. Get well soon, Sir. By the way: Hope the cabriolet roof can be fixed.
Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing this adventure.
Best regards luck and health to all involved people and dogs. ;-)

In case ya didn’t know, UC Davis has a great veterinary school; many vets I’ve met were graduates from there. But hey, I know the B18 and maybe B20 well having built the 122 and 145 I owned decades ago. Sold that 145 to a hippie babe (a Natalie Wood lookalike thinking back about that sale) who a few years later abandoned it on a street in Ocean Beach. She apparently never registered it in her name as I was contacted by the impound lot asking if I wanted the car back. Declined that opportunity as I had no space for it back then. Hate to think what happened to that old wagon in the hands of a junkyard. But have been thinking I’d like to find a 122, 544, or 140 of some type or condition even though I’m gradually aging out of restoring any more old cars. But the simplicity of these are an attractive incentive. Recently found a cache of old Volvo parts in the garage I had forgotten about from sometime ago. Great lil episode. Great Volvo happening. Thank you.

Beautiful car. Why is it so loud in the cabin? I know it's a convertible but still. Is it maybe the design of the soft top? The rear window looks strange- inset which will cause turbulence and buffeting. Same for the way it sags between the frame.

David, I’ve enjoyed your videos for the last few years. They encouraged me to persevere on my restoration. I /restored a 91 240 wagon in Tucson which I gave to my Daughter in Austin, Tx after her car was totaled a couple of years ago. She’s been using it as a daily driver and will now be placing it on Bring A Trailer. I’d like to ask if you could reach out to me so I could send you the link to BAT when it comes up with the thought that you’d pass on the link to your community. She’s been using it as a daily driver. It’s still a great looking and operating car! Thanks, Pete..
