We had a female Staffie for 12 wonderful years. She was stolen from us at the end of June 22 by fricking bone cancer. Absolutely crushed us to the core. Keeva did all 4 of those things. She always wanted to be where we were, not just on the couch with us, but on us on the couch! She gave great kisses, and her tail was a certified weapon. It's almost like losing one of our human daughters. Loved you all of your days Keeva, will continue to love you and miss you all of mine.
12 years wow. I've had mine for 1.5 years she was born on Halloween - she's so sweet not a mean bone in her. I'm glad to hear you gad so many years with yours. Makes me hopeful. I'm sorry for your loss - our pets are such a large part of our lives
Utmost condolences for the loss of your friend, words mean very little but be proud you made Keeva happy and gave her a wonderful life as I'm sure she gave you and yours the unconditional love dogs do.
Hi sorry for your staffy loss just lost our short leg staffy just 10 years to cancer mass around urinal opening . I know youll know the pain .just buried her in garden in container with her bed blankets toys and ball .cant see how to go forward seh really was a special one and ivehad alot dogs over the years but she was part human im sure . We tried everything no expense spared there simply werent any options left . Non operable and spread to lumph nodes . She was total white and name was lulu ..RIP 5/10/2024 totally gutted ❤
My rescue baby does all four! But one more should be added to the list: That deep soul eye lock they do. When my Gracie does this, the incredible feeling of connection is undeniable. I'll never forget the first time she did it. (BTW, at my age 60, she is my first dog ever). Just a few days after I adopted her, she was on the sofa with me, next to me and she got up and looked into my eyes and the unmistakable words THANK YOU were conveyed. I'll never forget that.
My staffy would follow me into the toilet & sit in between my legs while I sat on the loo, He would also follow me into the bathroom, & lie down beside the bath while I was in it😆 He followed me everywhere, & I loved it, I’ll get another staffy one day for sure..
First, I love you videos, thank you. Second, we’re heartbroken right now. We’ve just lost our six year old female Stafford to cancer. She is the black and white in my avatar. One of the things is miss most about Sansa (Swanky Queen of the North), is her cuddles. Every night, I would sit on the sofa with my feet up & my girl would lie on her back between my legs with her head resting on my belly. I would play with her ears & stroke her chest until she fell asleep. She actually purred, sounded more like an off-centre grist mill it was so loud. My wife used to jokingly comment I loved the dog more than her. She was definitely Daddy’s Girl. She often used to go into the full-on yipping dreaming state & I often dozed off too. We miss you baby-girl & hope you’re happy… Mommy & Daddy.
Sorry for your loss. Sounds like she had a life with lots of love, which while shorter was good. I’m sure she would want you to be happy, and treasure the happy time you had together.
@@georgelin8498 thanks, it’s a tough time, but we are concentrating on getting our boy Binky through his grief. He’s a lovely cuddly boy too, but he’s a lie the head on your lap type. We miss our girl, but life must go on. We both appreciate your thoughts. ❤️🇦🇺
Sorry for the loss of your loved one. How's your other pup doing without his pack mate? We're in a similar situation except our Reilly is 12 years old and it's been right at 7 months now.
I adopted a nine year old American Staffordshire bull terrier from the Humane Society two years ago. They didn’t know her history or even why she ended up at the animal shelter. She was adopted out after several months in two different Humane Society locations, and when Covid hit the person that adopted her took her back to the Humane Society so she could go be a travel nurse. she really doesn’t like to cuddle and she really doesn’t like to be petted. She likes to sleep right next to me but far enough away where I can’t pet her. She was a little bit peculiar and broken, but I like to think of her as a diva
Staffordshire Bull Terriers are a breed apart...Their different to other dogs..hard to define but easily recognisable as they grow to love and cherish you...Greatest breed in the world...😊😊
I babysat a dog and his house for a month. I Had no idea about Staffies, but soon was about to learn! I'm an animal person so he had my undivided attention, needless to say we bonded very fast and he followed me everywhere. Everywhere lol. He was in my lap, he stared in my eyes to my soul and he wanted to learn about me as well as I did about him. The licking, omg!! Hahaha, I miss him so much. He taught me so much, i miss Saku!! Hopefully we can hang out again. Staffies are the best!! ♡
I just got my first Staffordshire, I been a GSD guy most my life or a Rottie. I have a blue staffy name Azul aka Blue. He is 6 months and the light of my world. He also keeps his 90lbs shepski brother in fantastic mood since he is only 14 months. Two High active dogs, twice the excitement and responsibility tbh thx the creator we are not to far from the dog beach about 30 min walk.
ALL 4! My Sheba tends to be overly excited to be with me. I love it. Following, licking and her tail swings feverishly. Most of all, is when loving up on me. Almost as if she cannot get close enough. Presses and leans in so intently, that often she knocks me off balance. All the while, still pressing in and absorbing hugs, rubs and nibbles. True rescue a year ago. Roaming my neighborhood, overly malnourished and definitely in need of a LOT of love and TLC. Absolutely knew nothing about her history, estimating that she was around 9-15 months old. A year later...healthy, loving and an amazing joy in our lives.
My blue staffy constantly licks my head, and my legs constantly to the point wer it's annoying 😄 but staffys are very lovable 🐾🥰🐾 I've always had the breed and would never change my mind about these dogs as the best ♥️🐾🐾

Our one and only staffy (Boss) had to be put down b/c of an enlarged heart. Vets said he only had a couple months to live. He lived for two years!, unfortunately it was so much medication we decided to put him down😢. I will forever miss him. Whenever I see a staffy it it makes me remember what a beautiful dog he was. RIP
My ex partner and I had a staffie cross collie, basically a cut and shut where her hind legs were taller than front legs and she was amazingly cute and gorgeous. She was rescue dog and we had her from being a pup. We got her bcos I worked nights and she was there to be a companion for my ex. Her love for her mum was boundless and would put herself between whatever possible danger there was and her mum to protect her and yet was the most loving, intelligent dogs I ever knew! A friend once asked my ex if you had to make a choice of your partner or dog being thrown off a cliff and before she could answer I quipped definitely me lol!!! There was just no competition between me and Fiona our wonderful dog!
I remember two years ago when my female staffy (11years) woke up one morning to find her husband male American staffy (14years ) passed away in the morning after my parents went to work. The loud crying i heard from her pure sadness man i went out with my sibs and found him stiff in his kennel and the female outside the kennel looking at him and howling. Man i miss him.
Awesome breed the best dog you could ever own ,fearless loving sensitive judgemental goofy this dog can do anything any other breed can do and is very loving too
Four out of four! I have a long-legged staffy and he will climb all over me and sit on me wherever he has the chance, licking at my hands and face as much as he can. And I long gave up on having 5 minutes to myself, wherever I am, he wants to be too. As for the tail, that's a lethal weapon, especially when he's already sitting on me.
@@12thcommander47 Yes there is, they're sometimes referred to as Irish Staffies and I've got one too. She's not an American pit bull or a cross. The original Staffies were all slightly leaner and had longer legs than the current breed standard. Many breeds have changing breed standards over a period of time, German Shepherds for example, have a breed standard which prefers a conspicuously lower back line over their hind legs than they used to. There are however, thousands of bona fide German Shepherds to be seen which are of varying size and proportions and have a 'straighter' back line.

@muffs55mercury61 Completely true. Over the years I've had 13 SBT and everyone has no clue what personal space is. I have a mother and daughter SBT now. They'll follow me everywhere, including the toilet. They sit watching me in the shower. Lay on me, not next to me very time I sit down. They get under the duvet at night. The original Velcro dog. This also happened to me that me and my mom go to my former classmate named Natali house and when I was outside to hang out with Natali and her sister and I noticed that she used to have a stafford named Dino who was locked inside a box and when I come closer and he was definitely seem happy to see me and he was running and he was jumping that he wants to lick me and he really loved me, but I don't know what happened to him since I never go to visit my former classmate Natali or her dog, but I will never forget about my happy memory

You need to teach no teeth contact the best way to do it is say ow and act as if it hurt and then say no. The look of disappointment and upset on their faces knowing that they’ve hurt you will make you smile he will learn not to do it. My staffy when I take him for a walk and I’d jog with him, he’d jump up and grab my arm don’t know he’s do this but i gathered he either didn’t want me hurt my self or he got too excited. My staff won’t let you do anything if he thinks you will hurt your self with. I’ve had to get rid of my kids trampoline cause he didn’t like them on it and couldn’t train to to stop going bananas with it

Haha. They follow you because they want food. 😂
one day
This also happened to me that me and my mom go to my former classmate named Natali house and when I was outside to hang out with Natali and her sister and I noticed that she used to have a stafford named Dino who was locked inside a box and when I come closer and he was definitely seem happy to see me and he was running and he was jumping that he wants to lick me and he really loved me, but I don't know what happened to him since I never go to visit my former classmate Natali or her dog, but I will never forget about my happy memory
Amen

You need to teach no teeth contact the best way to do it is say ow and act as if it hurt and then say no.
The look of disappointment and upset on their faces knowing that they’ve hurt you will make you smile he will learn not to do it.
My staffy when I take him for a walk and I’d jog with him, he’d jump up and grab my arm don’t know he’s do this but i gathered he either didn’t want me hurt my self or he got too excited.
My staff won’t let you do anything if he thinks you will hurt your self with.
I’ve had to get rid of my kids trampoline cause he didn’t like them on it and couldn’t train to to stop going bananas with it
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
4 signs any dog on the planet loves you
My nic name for my staffy is licklick 😂
