I like this annotation method. I'm gonna do the circle names thing. Please make this a series.

I'll say Crime and Punishment is like the first psychological thriller.
Like lots of things are happening just inside Rodia's head.

1000000% for awhile i could almost get lost just wondering about how overwhelmed Rodia was.

This is by far the best annotation video I've ever seen, this is how we annotaded in uni in all my Lit classes. I don't know if the distincion is that you are an Literature scholar but other booktubers annotation methods are not like this, this is my preffered method.

I find it fascinating to watch other people annotate because I rarely do. My head is usually pretty into the story when I read so I don't analyze at all or pay attention to little details. But when it comes to certain lit like classics, maybe I should give it a try...
I would love another one for annotating your reread, especially a spoiler-filled one. Maybe kind of like a vlog?

I’m reading Frankenstein for the first time and it’s the first book I’ve ever thoroughly annotated, I’m so glad that early on, I’ve already found a method that I’m comfortable with :)

This is really fun to watch!!! (and is probably the most informative vid on annotating out here, but i might be biased because i really love your content 😅) I only started annotating last year and it really made a positive impact on how I read. I love how you encircle proper nouns and to take note of the places and names - I would definitely try that out on the next book that I'll be reading!

I use my book journal for quotes as it has separate sections for those and reviews and lists of books and dates so I don't have to mark the book in ANY WAY! . I didn't even write in my Uni Books as they were so beautiful and I didn't wand to destroy them.

I useually don’t annotate my book because I useually give it away to charity or donations once iv read them, I always buy them new and I was always thought never to deface a book, but I have throne of glass and the storm light archive and Mistborn and their good books, I do whant to start to annotate them but it would be my first time and I’m a bit windy of doing it but I whant to and I know I have to dump them, and I know I can’t keep them because we or I don’t have enough room for more if I do keep them and keep adding them, so maybe I should just dump them after I have read and annotated them?
