I meant what I said, it was the head coaches leadership that set the standard, not any one player. That’s what Brady was, a player. Every Super Bowl title was won by that Patriots Defense, go back and watch them. In 3 of those Super Bowls they probably should’ve lost because their offense couldn’t put up enough points, but those great defensive teams bailed them out. It’s a team sport, stop with all the Brady nonsense because he went to a loaded Tampa team.

Tom Brady accumulated his status as goat over the course of his career, without being the year in year out “best qb” in the league, deserving that title probably 3-5 seasons of his 20 plus remarkable years.
Belichick is in rare air of goats , along with Michael Jordan in that he is not only the goat by via of total accomplishments but because in his hey day it was undisputed that he is the best coach in the league. Brady had manning, later Rodgers and later mahomes. As best coach and gm there was never anyone that could be called a rival , no name to put across from his. He is in the top tier of goats, the best and the greatest. Tim Duncan, while less accomplished is a closer basketball comp for Brady than Brady than Jordan. Jordan is the player comp for Belichick the coach.

I'm 37 yrs old a Connecticut native and became a die hard Patriots fan at 10 yrs old in 1996. (Pete Carol and Drew Bledsoe days)! Then Bledsoe got hurt and pTom Brady came in Along with coach Bill Bellicheck and gave us the greatest 20 yrs of football any duo had done in NFL history! 9 division titles, 10 superbowl appearances and 6 Superbowl rings!!!😮💪🙏 so today my heart is a bit heavy seing the end of the BB Era in a patriots red white and blue. But it is definitely feeling like it's time and the right move for all party's involved and the future of our beloved team to move on to our new futures. I wish BB the best in his future endeavors just as I did the same with Tom Brady when he left us to play in Tampa Bay and win yet ANOTHER S.B. ring!

The shrill harpies calling for his head should be ashamed. The sports media is such a click driven industry.
The basic issue is QB. That’s it. Andy Reid won 4 games his last year in Philly. Now people talk like he’s in the GOAT convo.
