The repetitive imagery is because he keeps running through his memories of her and wishing he could get her back and fight for her. Personally I think the video is brilliant and haunting.

it is just heartbreaking when you see that the nightcore vids have exponentially higher views than the orignal tracks. don't get me wrong, i love nightcores, but i feel that they barely require effort to make. the orignal song was just amazing, but no one cares to watch it cuz of the nightcore. iv'e seen even worse cases where the musicians were completely crushed by a random pitched and sped up version of their songs. it's just really sad how talent get's crushed unknowingly
