I have an iPhone 11 on ios 18 The LCD is 100% genuine but it says the part is unknown do I need to factory reset with laptop in order to finish and repair parts ?
I have a couple parts from a phone that was marked was lost / stolen, those parts were purchased from my local repairer where he gets bulk parts. I am not worried about my phone getting bricked will this be the case?
@@RealFinalCionide i haven't get my hands on with stolen parts as too much work load plus this is a new channel too much work for shooting and editing videos and checking prior problems discussed in comments. I will try to check tomorrow and will make a video
You should be able to enter the credentials of the locked part, if you can’t I believe that you can just skip it and the part will just have limited functionality like before
@@rizzle3863 ok I will take your opinion on it, maybe I could wait a little longer and then update just to be sure, it’s the only phone I have. I wouldn’t assume anything was stolen but I say that because activation lock or iCloud thing
@@bigdr33gtst nothing happened still that old unknown part error. no truetone nothing else.....shot one video on that will upload soon with some other relevations also
1. Connect iTunes as old version 2. Restore iphone new version ( how do i get ios 18 version file? ) 3. Once installed new version open iphone and validate repair again
@@sezo7445 1. Connect any iphone from xR to latest with original part u replaced of any ios version to an updated latest itunes 2. Restore iOS 18 RC (Release Candidate), download from 3utools/firmware section. 3.After restore activate iPhone and go to settings/about/parts and service history and follow instructions in video.
@@iClinic8Hi, as I understand it, it works only with iPhone 12 or newer. I tried with a iPhone 11 without success with original parts. The option to restart and configure is not there.
not working, can't restart to diagnostic mode due to error. Tryed manually diagnostic mode, Theoretically it ends but the notification about the non-original part continues. Any fix?
@@MonteChristo007 that can't restart might be due to server load as mostly all the technicians might b doing this stuff. and as u said u did that manually might not have triggered some codes required that it might use from the parts and service history thing try using the method in the video again as many people including Jessa Jones also failed in the starting.
what happens if u pair the parts then go back to ios17?
