- In today's video, we wanted to share another restaurant in Savannah, GA that we ate at. This one was called Boar’s Head Grill and Tavern. It is right next to the water and just off of River St. We wanted to give this old tavern a try and it didn’t disappoint. It was such a cool spot and the food was good. It also wasn’t as expensive as other restaurants in Savannah. The burger was really good! We wanted to try some dessert but realized we were way too full. Had lunch there at the end of January this year . Service was great and the food was very good . If your in that area it is a nice place to go ...........and get a bloody mary !

When were you in Savannah? Side note, my husband HATES anything peach - Isn't that crazy?? I'm always a sucker for Shrimp Cocktail, and also Oysters (or preferably CLAMS) Rockefeller. I would love the stuffed shrimp, but with a baked potato instead of the pasta. I've never had shrimp and grits. There was a place in Boston, (it's no longer there, but it was a very popular chain in the 80s and 90s) that had the BEST crab bisque. I used to get it almost daily - it was a special with a tuna salad on baguette. Chocolate pecan pie is delish!
We went over Thanksgiving! Peach is a must lol. All the food choices sound good. We want to go to Boston sometime!
How was the soup?
It was pretty good! We really haven’t tried much other soups like that so don’t have anything to compare it to but very creamy!
Burger was big and shareable, but not great.
We really enjoyed it!
