This is more than combined population of many countries. Think about it. Until poverty is removed by vast margin, everyone will talk cheap about India. There are certain areas where India is better than Africa. But, when it comes to poverty, India is no better than Africa.

All you need is efficient supply chains and production facilities to have a high GDP. Look at Germany, Japan and America. They barely have a 100-300 million people, and yet have several times more GDP than India.
