I started my youtube channel 2-3 months ago and this was one of the thing i tried to do in one of my first videos. Thanks to your super detailed explanations, I was able to do it, (using Keynote, google earth and Final Cut Pro just like you explained). The ken burns advice was the cherry on top ;)
Thanks, Robert (and thanks for taking the risk with the new channel). I've used Relive and tried to use the GPS features of my cameras (GoPro and Insta360). One must also remember to turn these features on (#facepalm). Being able to go back, find a map, animate it to fill in the gaps when I forget to turn these other maping helps on, is a gift. Thank you, again!
Thanks Robert! I was looking for this the other day after watching one of your Nomad videos on producing a video (which I eventually found). Congratulations on the new channel too - looking forward to more content. A great move! Having said that I am always sad when I see a title “this is my last video”! All’s well that ends well!! 😂
Amazing, thank you, I have been so looking at trying to find a better solution for doing this for my own Road Trip videos. I’ve subscribed and I wish you the very best in this new endeavour.
That’s the way I do it as well. Nice video! 👍 You also should have mentioned that if you want to publish this kind of animated map videos, you also have to give credit to Google or wherever you have your original maps from. Still a nice video! 👍
Good morning, Robert. Happy to see that the subscriber count is going up :) You deserve it! I wanted to try the animation feature but is no longer on Pages (for me anyway) as off December 15th. Apple update? Still available on your end?
Oh wow, this was very helpful! I will definitely be using this in my future videos - thank you Robert 🙏
Glad to be of assistance ma’m 😊
Simple and elegant. Brilliant..
Thanks mate
By far, the best tutorial in Maps animation, short, præcise and most importantly easy.
I have spent many frustrated hours.
Thanks
Glad it helped!
Excellent, as someone who knows nothing about producing any kind of video, seeing professional insights is really interesting.
Glad you liked it!

Thanks for the video. Is there a way this trick to work on IPad? I can’t find “Draw by pen” on IPad.
