You mentioned really detailed things and thats cool, but that is something that dont stop people from hearing it on repeat, cause the more you listen, the more it grows on you and the last chorus you missed was litterly like how you wanted the others to be... and in the modern way it would be better like you described it, but that exact sound give soo cool nostalgic retro vibes and i love it. And the whole rest of the song is just phenomenal
Completely agree and of course there's going to be people who love it the way it is I'm just giving my perspective and my own thoughts coming at the song as a producer mixing engineer and writer so the things that I mentioned I think would have been nicer changed could have possibly just added more catchiness to what already is awesome because the song is really great

Of course I would think that you are so wrong. Baby Monster blows my mind every time. I have had it on repeat since the song dropped on the 1st July. Easy listening. The key parts in this song was to showcase Pharita hitting the High notes and the rap duo of Ruka and Asa with Chiquita doing a quickie dance to Asa's machine gun rap. Today day 3 before reset, the views should get to 30 million views currently on 27 million views.
I appreciate your input! Overall I loved the song usually my thoughts are coming from being producer writer and mixer so as a listener you may not have even realized allot of things I mentioned haha and i always love to hear everyone's likes and dislikes!
Watch Sheesh their official debut song with all 7 girls. Also watch Batter Up and Stuck in the middle with 6 girls debuting. The 7th girl was sick. The Room 401 refers to April 1st when all 7 girls debuted with Sheesh.
i like it better that way cause it gives that nostalgic and addictive sound
6:14 also this might be just me but I think this is more based on your preference than reacting to it objectively because as much as I want their hiphop based songs this song is breath of fresh air. All of the retro parts of the song are the ones that you only pointing out.
The vocal is kinda Gen 2 kpop vibe, (SNSD i believed) mixed with YG hiphop style.

Love the girls but I do agree with some of the points you made that could’ve made this single more elevated
Yeah it was nothing against the girls and I think the song overall is really great actually I was very happy with both of the songs of theirs I reacted to today there's just a few technical things that I think could have made it even better

The hook reminded me of big bang’s monster for some reason, but I like the way they didn’t come out with a song that made me think of Blackpink finally, their voices and rap are great.

4:08 I'm not sure if I understand you perfectly but it seems to me that you wanted the chorus to be more explosive than the pre-chorus but I guess for me the way they did things especially with the beat is to highlight the voices in the chorus because usually the thing that you want happens on hiphop based tracks and that's batter up and Sheesh but since the beat is explosive in chorus and the beat is the highlight of the chorus to make it morenaddictive it is better to not add to many lyrics to that and this is what I always say that many so called "fans" ir rather critics that tgey hated the empty chorus in YG songs like wtf? How can you put lyrics to a song that has an explosive beat those songs are just irritating to hear because it seems that so many things happen (I can name many songs but I wont) and since people wanted to drop this empty chorus this is what YG did also the chorus has a retro feel so I think the beat in the chorus is just perfect. Is is just only me? But many reactors felt like the song is a mashup of 3 songs but they really did a perfext execution for this song there are so mang songs now in kpop that uses this genre the mixpop I think? Nmixx does this actually but personally I really don't like it because there are some mixes that are awkwardly executed I swear I don't want to seem like hating so I won't tell what are those songs but the engineers and producers reallyyyyyyy did so well on mixing and arranging the song.
Yeah so my thoughts were not hating on the song I even mentioned multiple times how much I actually really do like it The opinions that I expressed are more so based on what I personally think would have enhanced the song experience so yes none of my words are 100% accurate but just expressing my thoughts as I do on every song I react to that's all

At first I started doing it that way but I noticed that people would only skip to the parts where I gave my opinions on things and technical aspect so I figured it would be better for most people to keep it short and sweet and to react and give my thoughts the first try but I will definitely take that into consideration! The few times that I did it that way people didn't watch all the way through to the second take as much and I'm not a very animated reactor lol I am pretty honest with how I feel about songs and since I do this for a living I'm not as exciting to watch react sometimes lol I just hope that my insight is found interesting by most

I personally find it jarring for you to immediately dissect small parts of the song before feeling the entire vibe, but alas the life of a reactor and a producer is never easy. Thx again. 👍😀
@@bcf3218 I appreciate you letting me know because I am still learning how to do reactions ha. Personally that's pretty much how I react to songs in normal life even if it's the first time it's a habit whenever you're a producer or a writer you can't help yourself from dissecting right away lol but maybe I will try a video or two where I listen through the first time and then talk about it in a second pass through and see how people like it
Much as I love BM I think YG is letting them down. Both Forever and Sheesh suffer from a subpar chorus which is something that pop music generally avoids. The chorus is the hook, the selling point and that thing you hum while you wash the dishes. Both videos are works of art (which could be part of the issue) and showcase the talents of the members well but the whole suffers. 90 percent of each song is fire let down by the chorus.
What may have happened is that the original version of song went through allot of revisions in order to make it sound great and when that happens sometimes you get a song that feels like a section was cut and pasted in and feels off. I'm just guessing but I've said it from beginning the girls are crazy talented and yeah always a let down when they don't have a perfect song execution
