This is a hit for sure, video is so good. These girls can dominate any concept. They all look gorgeous as usual. They have so many catchy parts in this song. They sing awesome and the raps are their best yet IMO. All 7 killed it.
All I did was suggest something I personally would like to see. In my opinion these young ladies have the incredible talent to change the game. Some agree with that and others are fine with them just being good at what already works. Both are legitimate opinions.
With Soyeon as my bias i agree with that. Not just for the rap skills. She is very intelligent and manages to adapt to anything, like Soyeon, in addition to having shown interest in composition and production. I'll definitely keep an eye on her.
Just a reminder this is produced by Choice37 not Teddy, he said that he has the monumental task of balancing all 7 member's talents. I do not envy his job, Babymonster is flooded with talent. The songs that have been released so far, are a growing pains of Choice37 learning about the girls, and what they are capable of. I would also like to mention, the previous songs, they have always been compared to Blackpink and having the typical YG sound. Now, they are trying something different, and the opinion is split. I like the song, its like an earwig and grows on you. If I heard this on the radio- not going to lie- I would listen to it and sing along. Woooooaaaa uh uh OHHHHH!!! that is very simple and catchy. Your criticism is on point and you justified what you said. I think the fanboys/fangirls are very defensive for babymonster.
I agree, highly vibe with this song except that chopped up forever part in the chorus! Literally everything else is incredible, like the pre-chorus is awesome, and I wished they'd built it into something that showcased their insane vocal talent! All the members sound amazing, the rap parts in the song are BEYOND slayful and omg the mv is stunning! And I do really love explosive feeling of the final chorus, with the layering and harmonisation! Also, I dig the lyrics "I've fulfilled my fantasy," and about it being "all a dream," but then at the end of the mv, even after they wake up, they're still living the glamours life of their dreams! I find that really cool, like now after all their hard work, and now that they've debuted, they really do get to live their dream forever!
Yes! Just being picky. 🤣 It's kpop this is the most chorus we can have they have more worlds now in their chorus than almost 80 or 90% of songs in Kpop. 🤭
These girls are probably the most talented of the entire 5th gen, but what's the problem with these fanboys?... Is it wrong that he doesn't like the chorus of the song? He's not criticizing the girls, he's criticizing YG's production and he has every right to do so. Stop being fanboys and taking everything so badly. For me, the first time I heard it I didn't like it either... after 3 or 4 times I loved it but the chorus still seems like the weakest part of the song. This song live in concert must sound very hard. Please don't pay attention to the crying babies and keep reacting to Babymonster!

They seem to tape together segments made to show indivudual skills, but they all fit together poorly, so there isn't that satisfaction in whole for the listener. Why do they live forever in the lyrics, I didn't catch it? Because they make money and are BabyMonster? I don't get it. I see their back to a car shown, all BP and YG MVs always had a car shot. 😂

I like the group + I think they're amazingly talented but I was critical of the producers/writers. I didn't love the chorus. Didn't dislike the song, just wanted them to make the chorus a little more re-playable, like they did here in Forever. That's what I mean by getting better.
