Her earrings are so nostalgic to me; my great grandma wore a lot of cheap plastic costume jewelry like the earrings, and I miss wearing her jewelry. It just reminds me of the late 80s.😅

i prefer my grandma’s advice- “you’re only as old as you feel. wear whatever you like.” she wore hot pink sweatsuits (think juicy couture) with gold jewelry and big sunglasses in her 80s and looked amazing.

I've recently been learning to do (amongst other retro/ alternative styles of make-up) sixties makeup too! I think it looks so cool once you get the knack, especially with graphic, bold coloured looks !
