I actually contacted Jasmine Rodgers because I wanted a copy of this song. She used to write/perform for a band titled BOA and if you go to CDBaby and use that band and check their album "Twilight" it's there and can be downloaded MP3 for 1.29! Yes this is a family of TALENT!!!
Amazing!!! I used to live in the same road as Jasmine and Steve in New Malden back in the early 80's as a 10 year old. We had some good times. They were great kids and they havent changed a bit!! Paul used to scare the hell out of me. lol It was only when I grew up that I realised what a legend he is. The man who sang alright now...... WOW. Hope you both are well? Nick Munroe.
Truthfully, I was not expecting much since most famous singers' kids aren't really that good, they just expect to ride their parents' coat tails. But these 2 kids have awesome voices!
and their own success. they have never done as much as their father, but I don't think they want to. having grown up in that environment i don't think they have ever really wanted to live that life style themselves. that's probably why most musicians kids never do much. they don't try and they don't want that life style. they got enough of it as a kid. that is if they aren't involved in other things but anyway.
Very talented, great looking kids Paul has. This song is obviously very different than Paul's gritty, sexy, bluesy, hard edged style, but it is plain to see that the apples didn't fall far from the tree. Brilliant.
This shows that talent runs in families. My Daughter is a jazz pianist in San Francisco. She just loves music and has decided to make it her life and I couldn't be more proud.
I was introduced to Bad Company by, coincidentally, a friend of my brother's called Paul Rogers. 40 years later and I have a Japanese wife, a son and a daughter (coincidence #2). One big difference...none of us can sing! Jasmine has great vocals. Talented family. Have now started listening to Boa and am most impressed.
's funny because I got basically introduced to Paul THROUGH his kids band Boa when I heard their song Duvet on Serial Experiments: Lain. I knew Bad Company of course, but I had never gotten into them enough to know the individual musicians names. The drummer for Boa is also the son of the Drummer from the old Progressive band "Renaissance", bloody good band actually if you're into that style of folk/jazz rock...
Wow!!! Love Paul's music so much. Such an influence on my taste and how I project my music. To hear his son and daughter is just a credit to the generosity he has given to music over the decades. To say they are a chip off the old block would be unfair. I love their style. They make it their own. Really lovely. Growing up listening to Paul was inspirational. His kids are so good.
My gosh! Paul, you must be the proudest dad ever! Aside from the fact that they both ooze talent, but I have talked to Steve, and he is absolutely beautiful! Inside and out! I can only imagine what Christmas is like in your home. 😋
Ecellent stuff, I hadnt known Paul had musical offspring until i'd bought my copy of The Strat Pack, wonderful stuff, and great to see them with their old man :-)
Omfg Jasmine is incredibly talented!!! Bôa is fucking awesome I know almost all their songs and they are so fucking UNDERRATED!!! Makes me so angry and sad! People don't know what is fucking good music anymore!!! ♥😪
Glad I tuned into the Strat Pack Cristmas night in time see this. What a gift from the Rogers' family, especially the message it delivers. I listened to it on the album and it was great but the family together in this rendition blows the doors off the studio version. WOW.

I never knew anything bout Pauls children...didnt even think he had any......first Ive known of them...its just very special seeing them with their Dad up on stage !!!!!! Pretty damn cool to have Paul Rodgers for your father!!!!!!
@abinaber for Jasmine music search the band BoA here. I recommend you to hear "Little Miss", "Duvet" or Anna Maria., or maybe you will like to hear the original version of the song played in this video called "Drinking"
Danke , mein Freund ! God bless you .
Well hi all, sounds great; both Deb and myself spoke to Jasmin when she support Bad Co in Cardiff. Found out you lived close by. Near the Res. Keep up the great sounds. Chris
You should check out the group they (Jasmine and Steve) formed called Boa (not to be confused by the crappy pop star). The album Get There is a great. It has a more alternative rock feel but also has Drinking on it too. I do agree it was a poor showing but she must've had an off night. The Boa stuff is awesome though and worth checking out.
I am compereing the HOBB'S FARM MUSIC FESTIVAL in Yapton West Sussex - 11th-13th Sept 2009 - Steve Rodgers is appearing!!! In aid of 4Sight - Blind Charity
I just finished MC'ing Hobbs Farm Music Festival, West Sussex - Steve Rodgers played a forty minute acoustic vocal set today and I can assure you that his Father's voice would struggle to be better than Steve's!!
Bôa is a great band. It's a pitty that we don't find much thing of them here on the web. Jasmine is great!

A proud dad doing his thing with his lovely children...

What a wonderful feeling that must of been. To be onstage with your son and daughter. Wow if there is a heaven this must be what it's like.
Very talented, great looking kids Paul has. This song is obviously very different than Paul's gritty, sexy, bluesy, hard edged style, but it is plain to see that the apples didn't fall far from the tree. Brilliant.
Angel Deville I agree to some extent. But think about Paul's slow songs (Seagull?).
Thank you very much for sharing this video, videos of Jasmine performing live are very rare.
This shows that talent runs in families. My Daughter is a jazz pianist in San Francisco. She just loves music and has decided to make it her life and I couldn't be more proud.
No wonder I'm such a talentless hack! Thanks, Karl!
such an underrated talent . wish we could hear her amazing voice more
WOW!! Nice to see that he's passed on his beautiful vocals & talent to his kids.

@tommytherigger she has a band called Bôa it's easy find music to download.

Listen to the lyrics. It sounds like their father decided he would rather drink then be with their mother.
I just finished MC'ing Hobbs Farm Music Festival, West Sussex - Steve Rodgers played a forty minute acoustic vocal set today and I can assure you that his Father's voice would struggle to be better than Steve's!!

@LloydChristmas777 Uh, that means YOU! And don't even think about trying to argue with me, either. You're sort of fighting fire with fire.
Where did this concert take place?
Man Jasmine is SUCH a diva!
@sigshooter226 lmao, don't we all. :-D haha
She does sound a lot like Alanis at times, doesn't she?
I thinks we need to hear some Steve and Jasmine on the radio and much less of that other crap that qualifies as being radio-friendly.
and you don't se
guess you'd know all about classy replies, huh?
