Forgiving is easy for me it's the letting go especially if it's family It's like you suppose to be accustom to their behavior toward you but yet you pray that they would see the errors of their ways and how it affects you.
I feel this. Maybe it’s praying for the Holy Spirit to guide the interactions, responses, and acceptance of peoples behaviors rather than for God to put it in their heart to change.

I just found this channel on this early morning. After listening to the first video on how to pray, I subscribed. This is the second video I watched. My father passed in March 2021, my mother in November 2021 and I had a heart attack in May 2021. Needless to say 2021 was a tumultuous year for me and I am still healing from it. My father and myself were estranged since is was 12..I'm 55 now. I had a chance to speak unscripted at his funeral and said exactly what you just did, how can I hold unforgiveness in my heart for him when God forgives me for my shortcomings. My relationship with God is still growing and I know without a doubt that he loves me (he came to me in a dream in the form of a man and communicated without moving his mouth) and told me many things about the extent to which He loves me and will never leave me. I have been shown many things through dreams that came to fruition and believe they were signs from God to prepare me. I am becoming more understanding and compassionate with other people because of my relationship with him and I pray that it continues to grow. Much love to your ministry and may you continue to grow.

I struggle with unforgiveness. Was I was in a very abusive relationship with my daughter’s father, and for years he would tell people lies and make me look like the bad guy, then a little over a year ago, he put me in the hospital. Recently he’s been trying to come back into my daughter’s life, but I genuinely don’t trust him and I don’t feel comfortable even communicating anymore. Please, pray for my forgiveness
