Robert Vanhorn yea when there were around 2 minutes left they definitely should've kicked one. They were consistently stopping our defense and stafford was throwing all over us and they had 3 timeouts. They easily could've drove down the field and prater is nailing it from wherever you put it

Highs and lows for the Steelers: Highs: -Red Zone defense was amazing -Smith-Schuster had a *fantastic* game -Ben was able to put the game on his shoulders. Had a few bad passes, but game through when he needed to. Lows: -Pass defense was awful. There’s no excuse for having 423 passing yards against you -Run game was less than 3 yards per carry (29 attempts, 75 yards) -Way too many 20+ yard passes happened in this game Overall, the pass defense needs a bit of more work, but Big Ben and the offense got it down today. #HereWeGo
Not quite, that redzone D was immaculate, but the '08 Steelers would have torn through that offense, not allow them all the way to the endzone before locking down.
When your kicker is the only one who scores in a game for your team.....Houston, we have a problem. There is no tomorrow! The lions were at the doorstep numerous times, no excuses for that. Prater almost single handedly won them the game and he's the kicker for god's sake.
Holmes had his time on that SB run, but was wildly inconsistent, something you don't/didn't see from the likes of Brown/Ward. Holmes was on the right team, at the right time, I'll always be thankful for his role in that '08 run (though the ending probably isn't as memorable if he doesn't drop the previous TD which was much easier), but I can't put him with the greats.

Lions outplayed the Steelers too in most areas, but they did not finish any of their drives, and that's the difference. Poor playcalling on offense hurt us too. Why tf are we running on 3rd and 6 with 2 min left in the redzone? Cmon. Also,, shoulda taken the field goal in the 3rd quarter earlier. This loss is not on the refs. This loss is on the Lions playcalling, and the players not executing in the redzone. This game had some bright spots though. Stafford was great, and the O-Line looked excellent for once. D was solid too minus that one big play. Overall, this was a game that I wasn't expecting the Lions to win yet I'm disappointed since we had so many chances. Oh well. The road does get easier though, and I think we'll make it 10-6 since there's quite a few freebies left in the season for us. Anyways. GG Steelers, you've got a pretty good team and Bryant should get released. Smith-Schuster looked like a beast. Now, onto Green Bay.

Twins yes it's still mid season, we can still make the play offs and the rest of our games aren't that hard like in the beginning of the season but Detroit has to step there game up if they want a chance to have a repeat in making it to the play offs
