A big reason why I can't deal with the Star Stable Community is the toxic negativity. Yes, toxic positivity sucks. But toxic negativity is a huge issue nobody ever talks about in SSO. When you constantly focus on the bad, no wonder why you are always upset at the game. There is no room to be happy, and Dark Knights are constantly telling everyone they are so good for "saving the game" while they try to justify sending hateful messages or bullying to players. It is a competition for who can be the best player in SSO and I'm really sick of it. It's so serious and I wish we could all just have fun instead of fight. It's like nobody knows how to get along. It doesn't matter if you are a white knight or dark knight, there is just no place to speak kindly to each other and it's really sad. People want you to hate the game like it is evil meanwhile others want you to love the game like it is an actual religion. It's so political. People are breaking friendships up over this game. Nobody like loves each other, they are just fighting and it's so exhausting. People don't love you, it's just all hate. It's so depressing and I'm shocked that a game about HORSES has a community like that. Please stop being dumb and sending hate to players or even UA-camrs. It doesn't accomplish anything but show that you are miserable. You can critique a game and want the best for it, you can love the game and want the best for it, but it is not an excuse to send hate or even bully people or stop being friends with those who love you. ✌
agree with this. there were so many times i wanted to quit the game bc of the global chat. someone was spamming and another person said 'ew ur so autistic' and i am autistic so i said they were ableist bc thats how i saw it. they said that i didn't even know what ableist meant and it was probably true but i just saw it that way. then they said how im not autistic and like how would you know?? i was so mad so i exited the game and was planning to move to another server but i knew that all servers are like this and i just wish there were servers with nice people :(

I had to completely stop watching sso UA-cam a few years back because I noticed it was just poisoning my enjoyment of the game, it was like everything SSE did was wrong, no matter what. Not allowed to be happy about any update or new feature. I’ve since found a way more positive community on ssoblr (tumblr) and discord, though I’ll admit to still heavily blocking people on there and just curating a space where we can be happy about new things, and where the criticism is more constructive than just plain negativity. All that to say, I super understand why you would leave the community, and I wish you all the best!
Don't even have to watch the video! One of my main reasons why I left is that the SSO community is one of the most pathetic, hateful and immature communities I've ever been in. It's a kids game and it really shows. 💀
I hope you are able to get into more friendlier communities relating to things you enjoy, it just seems like nowadays it's hard to find a big community of something popular that is at least mostly chill and mostly drama free, though there are big communities that are mostly chill, but they are very rare to the point when it's like trying to search for wild owl flying in the sky in the middle of the day, they are that difficult to find.
Its okay Siren. You have made many amazing videos I’ve watched about star stable and it’s becoming very two sided at the moment. I can understand why you feel this way. I thank you for letting us know what is happening. Maybe I’m wrong but I feel it’s like this kind of argumentative stuff is happening in most fan circles on just about anything. It’s an interesting thing to witness since we are now more than ever connected to each other thanks to online and at the same time so distant and won’t take any different world view unless it’s the same as our own about topics, not always the case. It’s not a bad thing in of itself it’s just very interesting for me to see happening across discord and reddit and UA-cam. And that is fine it’s not good or bad in my opinion. I used to have a friend that disagreed with me on heavy topics. But we could still respect each others views without negative or toxic comments towards each others views on it and still be friends. Now it feels like I’m walking on egg shells at times on new topics. I feel at a loss but I don’t feel it’s their fault it’s just a time we humans are experiencing right now perhaps. I have come to accept that part of humanity and myself wether for good or for worse they can have their views and I can be respectful of it and I can have my views and more times than not, I will get hurtful comments. So I can understand how you are feeling right now. Learning how to stop an argument or squabble is what I hope to achieve in the future. Or just for me learn to block out the worse offenders that wish I were gone. You are mature and very brave for sharing this with us. And wanted to let you know that. Apologies for my giant paragraph. I agree and have been thinking about making the same decision. I played almost 5 years ago and I genuinely can’t remember how the community was back then, but now it is incredibly toxic. I had a former friend on Night Star be openly homophobic and shove her religion onto me while I am bisexual, and clubs have reported her for going after children as she’s an adult. I just can’t remember major things like this happening back then occurring so often. It’s exhausting. Especially with this new chat filter system, people can override it or go around it so easily.
I just miss being an innocent little kid on Star and not realizing the toxicity right in front of me 💔 people are just really bold with no regrets lately
Even though i just found you on youtube and you have opened many people's eyes to SSO problems, thank you for your videos because they are well made and sometimes funny, thank you for your dedication to the community and I wish you happiness

Have you seen Valorant and Apex Legends? It's a ces pool of hate. The sexism, racism, and homophobia, the Sso community doesn't compare. Plus, I can't even take a majority of them seriously as they are usually kids or just immature high schoolers. Likeeee Idk why so many people take it seriously LMAO.
some of us take it seriously because we don’t do anything wrong and get doxxed, get sent paragraphs of racial slurs, have their boyfriends get s**ually harassed just for being a dude on this game & a lot of other garbage. ive been in plenty of communities including the ones you’ve mentioned and ive never been harassed as much as i have being in the sso community/ being an sso content creator. just because you don’t think it’s that deep, doesn’t mean it isn’t for other people.

Again, sso's community is filled with little children and teenagers being nonsensical. When you become a content creator haters come with the territory. Again, if all these bad things are happening it's really not that hard to leave. There's no really reformation for this shit hole of a community, so just do what you want and ignore it. Letting hate get to you is letting them win

i only became fully aware of sso's toxic team and how bad the game is recently. And let me tell you its changed my whole opinion on the game. I have heard controversies about the game and watched documentaries but what REALLY woke me up was Rattle's videos about sso. I binged watched them today and yesterday and it rlly woke me up.. so dissapointed
