  • Glenn's Creek in Kentucky is doing something unique with their bourbon, they're activating dormant yeast that's decades old in order to ferment their mash and give it a flavor unlike any other on the market!

That stuff is soooooo freaking good. It’s wild how good it is. This is what every craft distillery should aspire to

Glenns creek was an interesting experience and about as backwater as a distillery is/was. It has been 4+ years since we have visited. The owner is a pretty interesting character.

Hi Ryan, thanks for your review of our OCD #5. I'm glad you don't hate it! LOL You are spot on that we are one of a kind. Come see us some time.

OCD#5 fan here. One thing you didn't try, that I would recommend -- add a tiny bit of water to open it up, and it gets even more complex. It's very good stuff.

Went to Glenn’s Creek last week. Well worth the trip. Just past Castle and Key Distillery. Plan to go back soon.

Ah last time we went up to do a Bourbon trail visit (up from knoxville) we hit Buffalo trace, castle and key (about a mile or two from Glenn's creek) and woodford. Might have to go back and hit Glenn's creek next time, just ran out of time on the day doing tours but the tour at BT is free amd awesome lol

These guys have a very interesting flavor profile. I'm not a huge fan. The tasting tour we did was fun as the guys there are very entertaining. We did end up buying a bottle of the Cuervito Vivo.
