Myself being a Detroiter got to see him many times at underground events, DEMF (Movement too) and just recently Paxahau threw a show at a Warehouse in our city’s Eastern MARKET. What a blast it’s been watching this guy through out the past few decades
One of his best hybrid live/dj sets of the late minimal era. I've seen Richie DJ and play live since the mid '90s, and this is one of the best of his digital mixes outside of Plastikman live during the Cube tour. His frequency manipulation and low end programming are insane, his use of efx absolutely brilliant and mad creative.
Been to this club once and it was awesome. No one goes to fight or "hook up". Everyone is there to dance and have fun, no matter the dance skill level. Awesome house and electronic music. Some of the best! Def returning and recommend anyone to go there.

Major return to form, this is the best Richie Hawtin set I've heard since DE9: Closer to the Edit. Probably like most, I've been critical of some of the directions he's taken in the past few years, but this shows when he's at the top of his game, there's precious few in techno who can surpass him.
