Eyezayar’s Goodest Bouy of the Old West series where he tries to play through missions without shooting or killing or by KO’s. The first method here is what you would call the BSPTSD method of turning Micah into a killing a machine which helped out a lot in later mission too. Basically, your companions by default don’t do much except for when they’re scripted to, leaving the player to do the majority of the work. R* compliticated things a little further to motivate the player into playing the game the way they want you to. So if the player for example took too long running around just knocking guns out the enemy npcs hands and hogtie’ing them, one of the player gang members would get shot and the mission failed or whatever. So Eyezayar tried disarming one those o’Driscolls by that shack and agro’d them back to where your gang was pinned down at to see if the gang would be more useful that way. The o’Driscoll surprised and slapped Micah, he dropped his revolver, pulled out his knife and went insane. Arthur and Micah became a takedown team.

seeing micah burn was so much fun, seeing him burn in jail, now that is poetry
So basically, if you're out in a mission with Micah, disarm an enemy and bring him to Micah to knock out his revolver, if Micah sits in camp or somewhere and doesn't move, then you can just burn him alive and take the revolver from his body.

NOTE (PIN THIS): The one in chapter 3 (shooting Micah with fire arrow) still works even though they made it so you can’t shoot the camp, you just need to get closer to the tree until your almost aiming at the tree. You will eventually be able to shoot the table Micah is sitting on and at some point the fire will spread from the table to him, then his body will disappear and you will be able to pick up his gun, your welcome.

So, basically engage someone in hand-to-hand combat and lead them to Micah 🤔 Smart, very smart. Or light him on fire when not in a mission.
It's not really even worthwhile getting Micah's revolver early it's just a double action revolver the worst revolver in the game by far better off getting that Schofield revolver hidden in the docs backroom office in Valentine

I forget what the mission name is but it’s when Dutch kills Cornwall and you and Dutch go up the stairs when Micah is fist fighting a guy he gets disarmed and you can pick it up in chapter 6

I always remember the first time I horse rolled Micha. Then I tossed him in front a train, and he was back in camp the next day.
Would be funny if there was some dialog programmed in where if you picked up his revolver in chapter 1, he'd occasionally say something to you in camp like "enjoying that revolver cowpoke?"
You can see, Micah in the coach robbery mission really cares about Arthur, he's...kind to him, maybe he didn't have ratting the gang in the plans
I feel like they changed his character mid way through making the game. Because during the first 4 chapters he’s actually somewhat likable
@@Spamshdhdh Nah, he was just making more effort to hide his scumminess. Once he knew he had Dutch's trust he didn't have to act reasonable anymore.
@@Spamshdhdh Micah was only ever likeable as a well written villian. He was never morally decent at all, lord only knows what terror filled that widows mind in strawberry before micah killed her and that was in part 2

It’s mostly slap, run, wait and claim the gun.
The Burning him inJail one doesn't seem to work anymore after March 2024 update. He drops it but it won't let you pick it up no matter what.
this is good because you get the double action early and you can see micah get burned and beat up
I tried the first technique that you showed and when I broke my get out of jail when he collected his guns when I died after he collected his guns I lost that revolver so I’ll just stick to Arthur’s cattleman
ok i know there is a lot of Micha hate, and its deserved but, 2:11 he sounded genuine asking Arthur if he was ok and tbh i don't even think Micah ever would so it could be the fear of "without Arthur i am screwed" or it could be "damn i kinda like this guy but i am still a piece of shit"

I'd buy it, back in chapter 2 he was definitely less arrogant, even if by a little bit. hell, IIRC the coach you steal in that mission is meant to be a "peace offering" for dutch, that's not something endgame micah would do because he was real snug with dutch by then. back in chapter 2, he needed arthur. sure, one could argue he was always just using arthur but there's still some genuine concern to be had even then, because if arthur had died there, he'd be screwed and he knew that.

I’ve been trying the jail fire arrow method for over an hour. He doesn’t drop his gun and there is also an O’Driscall in the cell with him. I’ve noticed in the video he’s alone in the cell. 🤔

Got the Micah revolver today on PS5, Burning him in the jail cell, took about 10 tries lol.
Did you mean the gun didn't appear until you did it 10 times cuz I'm able to do it but no gun appears after he burns up?

Can you pick up his guns twice so you can dual wield them like Micah does

I just found about u can replaying mission to get gold cause there is a checklist. I didn't know about it so am replaying them so question is I can replay that part and do what u did in the video I would be able to keep his gun when it takes u back once that part is done?

Great ideas but in mission short walk in pretty town i disarm the guy but when i bring himbto micah, Micah kills himbwith revolver
Ive tried doing this in chapter 4 over 20 times. Not restarting by checkpoint. Literally impossible. Even if u manage to disarm someone micah instantly kills them before they get to him.
Just get 2 or 3 guys on him

4 involve Micah being hit with someones bare hands, and 2 involve him being burned.

Seems they patched this unfortunately as ive gotten the dude to disarm him but it doesnt give me a prompt to pick up or inspect the gun its alright though im sure there are other unpatched ways
Update: so as far as ive seen there is currently no unpatched way to get Johns or Micahs Revolvers early and some claim you can get Javiers but i think its mods

In a replay it will just show up in the compendium but you won't have it

by using native trainer spawn micah from peds antagonize him until he uses his guns when he starts shooting kill him with a molotov then get his weapon

But you can also get the second holster by doing challenges, unlocking the holster, then buying it from the trapper
