Great recap on MAC brushes! Although I haven’t purchased any MAC brushes in years, I have several of their original natural hair brushes which are amazing! Once they switched to synthetic, they just weren’t the same brushes to me. Looking forward to the next review!
Thanks for watching & you’re so right about the quality shift! They are rougher now, which is wild because they were the “go to” brushes when I first got into makeup! Times change. 😊
@@miss.mercedes.monaee So true! They were my first high-end brushes but when they shifted to synthetic, there was a remarkable unfortunate decline in quality. The original MAC brushes created my interest in natural hair brushes so I’ve branched out to other brands for natural brushes but my favorite synthetic brushes are from BK Beauty. If you haven’t tried the brand, they are definitely worth the cost and are of a high quality.
Thanks for watching & it sounds like great minds think alike. Stay tuned for my next video & check out my 2023 favs if you missed it. I talk about more of my favorite brushes of last year. 💕☺️
Thanks so much for watching & your comment. I’m glad you appreciated the thoroughness, because I can be chatty! If you want to see the rest of my collection, stay tuned for part 2 (which is long overdue). 😂💕☺️
See, those MAC brushes last soooooo long. Did you replace it? I believe mines are around 15+ years old now too. I just picked up two new MAC brushes & featured them in my new haul. Thanks for watching! 😊💕
The Sephora 80 is a dupe for the Marc Jacob bronzer brush (now discontinue since many years), I have the MJ and my friend have the Sephora one, those brush are identical. MAC 170 is a killer I never find an other replacement for this brush 💛 Sephora pro collection have very nice brushes, during the sale you have 30% off too, I think you can not really go wrong with Sephora brushes. All my brushes except some are real hair from Rephr (I have probably a problem I have 20 Rephr brushes 😆), game changing in my makeup FUDE brushes FTW! Nice video 💛
I never tried the Marc Jacob bronzer brush. I definitely intend to grab more Sephora brushes during the sale. Check out my Sephora sale related videos if you haven’t already. I rave about those brushes & you can’t beat a 30% deal. I do need to try the Rephr brushes because people bring the up a lot. Which are your favs? Thanks for watching & I a really appreciate your comment! ☺️
@@miss.mercedes.monaee I have a small face and deep set eyes, I love the choice for the small brushes for eyes like (01, 02, 03, 13, 14, 23), best concealer brush ever 36, bronzer brush 22 (perfect dupe for the old Tom Ford), 05 for blush/more precise bronzer/powder, lash curler is very cool, beauty blender is my favorite too, these are my favorite. They have bigger brushes for eyes too, if you have more place or bigger eyes. They have sale during the year never pay full price you can have 40-50% off !
Thanks for the tips on the brand. 🙌🏾 I will definitely check them out because I LOVE makeup brushes. Stay tuned for my upcoming Sephora sale brush video. I’m dropping it on Thursday. ☺️
Thanks for watching & your comment! Good tip on the 128 because I never use that brush! 😂 I could see how it would be good for neck & forehead contour.
I wear makeup like 2-3 times a year IF that. WHY do I have the majority of the brushes you reviewed? and have likely never used but one or two. Lawd. Maybe I should resell 😂

@@traciewarren1070 I love BK Beauty brushes. I couldn’t agree more with your comment regarding the MAC quality shift.

Thanks for watching & your kind words. ☺️
187 and 130 are good for cream/liquid blush blending or for highly pigmented powder blush application.
Thanks for watching & for the tips! ☺️
I use my MAC 130 brush to apply the studio tech creme to powder foundation and the glow play blush.
Great video! Love the content! Very helpful! I have been debating 170 brush, you have me sold!

I lovveedd the MAC 109 brush! Used it for everything and took good care of it! Had it for at least 10 or 12 years before it fell apart...😢

Great review! I have a Mac brush similar to 128 and I use it for neck and forehead contour. I like the shape and density for that.
Also can’t seem to find Part 2?

I need to film part 2! I will let you know when it’s up! Thanks again for watching & your comments! 💕☺️

I’m glad you enjoyed the video & I have to get the part two up. Thanks for the nudge! 😂🙌🏾

As a long-time MAC brush lover, I wanted to throw my two-cents out there. 😆 Thanks for watching!

I have 170s what do you think ?your review?
I’m a huge fan of the 170. It’s a great buffer brush for foundation.
