@@ahmadazem4167 In most card games financial advantages are the amount of decks you have. Meaning you can counter deck. Since counter decking isn't completely relevant in most tournament settings, it doesn't give a distinct advantage.
In Yu-Gi-Oh, you're plowing the bank just to make a single deck... of commons!

Which is why you tell them if they won't duel you then they're A chicken to scared to face someone that isn't rich and to scared to loose against one. That right there grinds their gears😁 rare cards doesn't mean sqat, its how you play, its how you use your cards and its knowing your opponent cards but most importantly, to have fun. Its so interesting how the anime actually shows all this in real life yugioh.

Yknow I thought I could avoid buying expensive cards that got banned immediately after by playing runick fur hire. So I just put that money into custom sleeves and playmat. They still got me

Japanese cards are cheaper because we can’t use them.
First: the card backs are different, meaning opaque sleeves = marked deck.
Second: if we could use ocg cards, Japanese players won’t be able to afford the game either (the JP Yen is down)
Third: Konami knowing that USA has more money intentionally ups the rarities of good cards (they’ve been doing it since Volume 7 with Mirror Force which will align with Metal Raiders, and MST in Magic Ruler (OCG common) yet people still act surprised.
If the TCG could use OCG cards, the game would shoot up further in price (import cost), and TCG product would die. At that point, I’d be willing to bet Konami would make Yugioh OCG only: JP, SK, and HK
It's different card stock too, you probably wouldn't notice in a double sleeved deck but it's still a valid excuse

I just had a random idea for a video. You should take random packs from a set that has no extra deck monster (like Pharonic Guardian or Spell Ruler) and open just enough packs to make a deck. As you're opening the packs, you aren't looking at the cards you pull, so as you are dueling, you are learning the deck and leaving everything to the Heart of the Cards. It would probably make for some difficult duels, but it could be pretty fun.
(If you wanted to use a set with Extra Deck cards, you could have a third person search through them as you open them to make sure their aren't any in the deck.)
Not sure if you have already done a challenge like this, but I figured I'd share just in case.

Man, I got a PhD in doing bro I can make cheap decks expensive decks whatever I’m still in but here’s the thing a no card game more expensive than magic the gathering lol I’ve won competitive tournaments and that as well as Yu-Gi-Oh before, but I got out of magic because my passion is Yu-Gi-Oh! and magic is just too expensive to stay in standard but I actually prefer 5ds and back favorite generation is Yu-Gi-Oh GX and love coming up with ways to make those decks destroy peoples new expensive decks. Might have to use some new cards but that’s just the way it is. It’s a passion. It’s love and I come back to you full-time. After couple years hiatus playing competitive magic the gathering I came across yawls channel and it’s absolutely amazing. Love the time effort and heart you put in to all your videos.
It’s an Illness on my finances but a remedy for my heart 😌

I just played in a FFTCG Regional qualifier recently and one of my matches sat down with his deck double sleeved. He had foiled out every single card in his 50 card deck, with highest rarity possible. For reference, full art foil cards in FFTCG are ~$40 at the LOWEST. Many of these cards get up in the $200-300 range, and he had full play sets of them. His deck was easily like $2k+

Reasons why I stopped buying cards or unboxing. I got tired of pulling certain cards for them to be banned before I really got to play them. So now I just look for cards that seem fun or I know will last a while. Budget life with cyber dragons 🤷🏻♂️
