All melees follows a simple format running attack and heavy. Running attacks cancels normal attacks and if your weapon is a pipe or a heavy weapon it can disarm heavy guns like a sniper rifle. Heavy attacks have hyperarmor and do more damage and to do even more damage theres a red bar that fills whenever you get attack landed and when it's full it will give your heavy an insane damage boost. I recommend this combo. Running attack then heavy because running will cancel the attack then you have a chance to land AN HEAVY ATTACK. Also running attacks can cancel heavy attacks.
