I was born in Madeville, Jamaica. I stayed in Thailand for a month in 1997. In Thailand my base was in a condo. on Sukumvit Rd. Ci Cip Kao. I visted Pataya, Ayuhtuya, Chiang Mai--1 week (the best part of my trip), Ko-Samet, etc.. Please excuse the spelling. I loved the food, the people and the weather! I had lived in Japan before that from 1991 to 1997 residing in Tokyo, Koto-ku for most of that time.

I have to disagree as well. Visited China Town during the Chinese New Year and the racism was stalk. This was not one Chinese shop, but two (2) the same day. This was shocking as I've been visiting the USA since 1986 and never had that experience. I'm also a world traveler and this was my 1st blatant racism. I was totally ignored with the white visitors behind me greeted while I was ignored. The Chinese people in Jamaica is such a part of our culture. I guess the videos of the Africans been treated badly in China during the pandemic comes to mind. The Tai people are friendly and welcoming.

Those country beaches are bigger and more beautiful, the people are more friendly, less to no crime, no one begging you money, cheaper to live, weather is good, parties are more fun,you are appreciated as a foreigner. If you dont believe me,try going there for the experience. Start with Thailand in south east Asia or zanzibar Tanzania or Ghana in Africa you would be amazed and disappointed in yourself for always over the years running to jamaica, mexico, and north America for vacation. Ask the European people they will tell you all about those overseas countries because they all over there and not even then want to go back go their country of birth.

I am just grateful that the world is such now that we can work where we get a job, especially when you tried getting a job in Jamaica and was unsuccessful! I have been to many countries and I love them, but I have never thought that I would never return home, despite our difficulties. Every country has their problem, including Thailand. The wealth gap here is a problem, so is crime. We are lucky, we have a beautiful country and we have achieve a lot. Soooo, I am international. I can live and work anywhere, but Jamaica is my home🇯🇲❤️
