PonyCam give him a hug from me also the other year I was doing sitting trot ( when I started) and almost slid off the side but then my fav pony saved me 😁
QOTD: I kinda love it, as it makes me feel like the horses are less likely to stop 😂😂 Good job today! You certainly jump at lot higher than me! 💕😍 Also, i like how today you've shown both gopro and just from a camera/phone view! Roger Dodger is such a good boiii ❤❤❤
Jess the horse it doesn’t matter how high you jump it matters how you look because if you are jumping smaller and have amazing form it’s way more impressive that someone jumping high that has awful form
You're really an incredible rider 😮 You always seem so calm and in control, I wish i'd be able to just get 2 jumps in a line without nearly falling off! You're really one of my role models in jumping at the time Lots of love from germany ♡♡♡
Roger really suits you. That looked like fun but I personally hated jumping grids but my instructor used to put them up occasionally and I got better at them but still hate them.
Roger's a superstar! Also I hope Robin is doing well! QOTD: it depends on what horse I'm on to be honest, it's obviously more enjoyable for the rider if the horse is having a good time too!
Aww Rodge seemed to love that! You ride him so well :) Qotd: I like gridwork but I couldn't manage it too often, as it is very technical and tiring! The first time I rode in a gridwork lesson I ended up doing some unplanned acrobatics and landed on the other side of the jump, just without the pony 🙈😂
Tori O'Hara Roger belongs to the riding school but ST Equestrian loans him, which means he gets used in lessons a few days a week, but she can do what she likes with him on the days he is ‘hers’, including competing/eventing. Basically she does all the hard work schooling him really well and people in the riding school, like me, get to take advantage of it 😄
Got To Love That Gelding This is the main arena, then there’s a much smaller indoor arena, and there’s another arena/area the same size as the one in this video that used to be used for the liveries to school in while riding school lessons were going on, but that’s mainly just used for turnout now. There’s also the grass jumping paddock, but again that’s just a field that’s used for turnout during the winter and jumping during the summer. Xx
Wow you rode superbly! You and Rodger are a wee team! (BTW 90cm is a decent sized jump, I'll give it to you! Especially since you only ride once a week!)
You guys looked fabulous together, such an awesome video 💕 QOTD: I hate it becuase I had a really bad fall in a grid work course, and the horse I ride goes crazy down them
Equestrian 3 It’s a nose net - it just covers his nose and stops dust and pollen getting in. This particular pony has allergies which cause headshaking and the net stops it 😊
@@PonyCam Wow it is crazy how you responded to a comment from a vid you posted 2 months ago, really shows the effort and love you put! Thank you so much for the explanation, it made my day believe it or not :) xx
your videos always make me miss riding! I mean, I could go back whenever I wanted but I wish the vibes at my barn were as positive and relaxed as yours 🙈 I've always ridden horses that require a lot of self confidence cause my trainer won't just give me calm nice ones😂 should I take it as a compliment though? lol. But I just wanna breathe for once!😂🙈 that's the main thing holding me back from riding again :/
Before I jump I get some nerves so it helps for me to see for someone else to go before me then after the person is done it’s gone is that weird? My horse draco takes great care of me that’s why I love him and I jump well I don’t know my instructor doesn’t tell me so it is a surprise
You know what... I was thunking while watching... I was actually crying while watching this because i want a horse a good and great as yours... Example od me crying...(😭😭😭) i will get there soon hopefully
“The pony can jump!” 😂 QOTD I haven’t really tried it before, but it looks great, hopefully can try this summer (my pony gets really fizzed up in colder months lol)
Hey I have a question not trying to judge or anything just genuinely curious... are you taught to stay in your seat/drop your seat quickly while jumping? I've always been taught, especially in gridwork, to stay out of the saddle and rely on my balance more. Just genuinely curious.
A.F. Creations I’ve been taught both ways in the past, but on this occasion we were really trying to get the horses to sit back on their hocks and shorten in preparation for the larger spread at the end, so staying out of the saddle would have encouraged a more ‘free’ approach to the fence and a messier final jump. Usually when it’s just bounces and not a variety of fences & distances within the grid, I’ll just stay out of the saddle.
👇 Every like is a pat for Roger for being an absolute legend and saving my butt when I nearly fell off 🙈😂
PonyCam just give Him a hug from me😍🐴
Liked! Lol 😅
i think Roger just grew some wings 😂 well done Claire 😍🙂
PonyCam give him a hug from me also the other year I was doing sitting trot ( when I started) and almost slid off the side but then my fav pony saved me 😁
He's a great pony x
"Oh yeah brilliant the pony can jump!" That got me giggling xD
Great Riding, Rodger looked like he had a great time!
lauren pelling We both had a loads of fun!
@@PonyCam how's magic and Herbie and mavverick
Love this pony so much you inspire me loads xx
Equestrian Millie He’s the best 🥰 thank you! Xx
“Oh yeah brilliant the pony can jump!” My instructor when they ask me to jump the lazier ponies 😂
same, also the ones that dump the little kids and do bucking bronkos
I was riding one that done a mini rear
It was a chestnut
Ay thats really cool! You are an incredible rider and my main role model cause im starting to jump
He's such a good horse
Eeeee I’m never early! I love how you talk to the horses so calmly.
This is my absolute favourite video on UA-cam. I have had it on repeat for the past day xxxx love your channel ❤️❤️
I love the different angles of the same run through. Very helpful!!

Fabulous to watch!!! You guys looked like you were having a blast! 😊👌Xx
We definitely both had fun!! Xx
I this video-I rarely watch gridwork because they are boring but I loved yours !!! Xx
Wow I love all your videos!! So being first is amazing!! ❤️ great work today you two!!
QOTD: LOVE IT!!!!! I feel like it really helps my riding!!
Oml!! I love your videos!! I think horses are amazing! I dont get to ride, so i love watch these videos!! Thank you for making them
Lydia Ferrell ❤️❤️❤️
You're really an incredible rider 😮 You always seem so calm and in control, I wish i'd be able to just get 2 jumps in a line without nearly falling off! You're really one of my role models in jumping at the time
Lots of love from germany ♡♡♡
I love seeing both camera angles. Thank you
You're doing such a great job with the horses! I LOVE watching your videos! 😍
Haha amazing riding! ☺️
Loved the vid ❤️
Yay! It's Roger Dodger! You two are such a good team! You inspire me so much, love you! 😄💖
Lauren Equine Thank you! 💕
@@PonyCam ☺️❤
I don’t know what’s better:
You and your horse doing incredible
Or
Your instructor yelling “perfect!” After every round.
He kept his ears forward all the way through the jumps what a great pony! 🥺
I LOVE how his ears were forward the whole time!❤
You are so good at jumping!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely loved watching you two work together. I’m just gonna say this: i think roger is a absolute legend 😂😍🐴
"Ah perfect" hahahh love her voice!😍❤❣
Roger really suits you. That looked like fun but I personally hated jumping grids but my instructor used to put them up occasionally and I got better at them but still hate them.
!! You and this pony are the best pair!!! Also your trainer is so nice! 😂
Great job, you look so good on all horses you ride!!🐎😀
I love the instructors enthusiasm! Well done this looked super fun!
Katherine Asquith She is great!
Started at the start of this year, I go to Wellington, and you’ve encouraged me to try and canter over jumps more XD Ty! :D
Awesome video as always💖💖💖
Keep up the amazing work😊💛
He is so good on jumping!
I could tell Phoenix was a struggle and you took him soo well!
QOTD: I have a love hate relationship with gridwork. It depends on the jumps, how many jump and height and cant forget who I'm riding
Wish I had your confidence, that gap in the last fence gave me heart palpitations 😂 x
Perfect jump! Good job! 😍
Natural Horse Thank you! ❤️
I love seeing you ride sooo good❤️❤️❤️

I love it!!! ⚡️😱✨🐴
seeing other people ride without reins is so fun but doing it myself is TERRIFYING 😂😍
The ‘flying....off....nearly’ had me. 😂
I actually just had a grid work lesson on my horse this morning😀
Lovely!! Very nicely ridden 😁❤
QuirkyBird 49 Thank you! ❤️
You jump so well, I am learning on my horse, Daisy xxx
OMG u and Roger are a jumping match made in heaven xx P.S love ur videos
Claire your such an amazing rider and it watched every video you have posted❤️
And Rodger did really save you there😂😂
I owe him big time 😂❤️
Love Rodge! What a little dude🤩
Toddie He’s the best 😁
He’s the cutest little horse
Aww Rodge seemed to love that! You ride him so well :)

Good job!
You are making them look so easy
Good vid again!!!
You was really good at that how did you do it 🦓
Hi lovely jumping. How high was the oxer. Love your channel
You did really well! Your horse is also really pretty :)
Doesn’t Rodger not already have an owner or does she just loan him, as she takes him out competing and all 💖
Tori O'Hara Roger belongs to the riding school but ST Equestrian loans him, which means he gets used in lessons a few days a week, but she can do what she likes with him on the days he is ‘hers’, including competing/eventing. I was wondering what the flap on Phoenix's nose was. Also great riding!!!
It’s a nose net which helps with his allergies & head shaking 😊
Just a quick random question but I was wondering how many schools we’ll arenas your yard has? Only I’ve noticed quite a few! Xx.Xx.

You guys looked fabulous together, such an awesome video 💕
QOTD: I hate it becuase I had a really bad fall in a grid work course, and the horse I ride goes crazy down them
Jasmine Oakwild Thanks! Oh it’s not nice when they rush down a grid at 100mph or crash through it. Hope you weren’t too badly hurt after your fall ❤️
PonyCam Thanks, I was lucky and just got off with a sprained ankle and extreme anxiety which I’ve worked on ❤️
3:05 late but what do you have on his mouth and why?
Equestrian 3 It’s a nose net - it just covers his nose and stops dust and pollen getting in. This particular pony has allergies which cause headshaking and the net stops it 😊

Well done roger such a cute horse love him
Ty for LOVING this comment 🥺🥰
Literally every time you did it we all heard "OH PERFECT" 😂😂

Just out but already love it
Claire your an amazing rider and Rodger was so good for saving you there😂
What a good pony Rodgers
Roger is so cute ❤
How high was the oxer? Btw love youuu
About 90cm, not sure how wide x
❤️
QOTD: Depends who I'm riding. Some of the horses I ride are pretty slow
QOTD: I’ve actually never tried gridwork but I would love to as I love jumping and it seems so cool and exciting!!❤️
Your trainer is so supportive ! All my trainer does is complain 😅😂 Its like she has no emotions !!!
Grid work!
You make those jumps look so easy
Thank you - Roger is doing all the hard work for me!
what is this riding school called
Amaizing ❤️
You know what... I was thunking while watching... I was actually crying while watching this because i want a horse a good and great as yours... Example od me crying...(😭😭😭) i will get there soon hopefully
Thank you but Roger does not belong to be - all the horses & ponies in my videos belong to or are kept at a riding school & livery yard 😊
Wooaaahh!!!
“The pony can jump!” 😂 QOTD I haven’t really tried it before, but it looks great, hopefully can try this summer (my pony gets really fizzed up in colder months lol)
Grid work helps slow them down ☺️
@@avamartin9815 thanks for the advice, it would be nice for him to slow down but he is 20 now and it’s a bit to late too change anything 😂xx
You got probably 100 views from me! Watched it soo many times 😂

Hi! You might no see this, but I was just wondering what camera you use? ( not the helmet cam) :)
Piper C. It’s a Canon Powershot G7X Mark II
@@PonyCam Ok thanks! :):)
Why does phoenix have a muzzle on?
He wears a fly net over his nose as he has allergies
Thank you
1:59 wow!
4:42 oof!
🤣🤣🤣🤣its amazing you scared me when u nearly fell
Uhm why does phoenix have a muzzle?
He’s very sensitive to pollen & dust so he wears a nose net on his bridle when ridden and a fly mask in the field to keep him comfortable.
Ohh I see thank you I was just concerned
omg i love you on roger
Great video. QOTD: I haven't done grid work before actually but have done jumping which I enjoy alot
Not to be rude or anything but I don't think you were releasing when you were jumping
K
Amazing ❤️😇
Are thay small or a the ponys small lol can't tell
